YUGO was our best car... ok, to be sincere it was only car produced in Yugoslavia and was our original product. Maybe it had his flaws but it wasn't copy, hahaha.

Ok, YUGO was junk but I had great time driving it as a kid and parts were incredibly cheap.

yugo was not a bad car, many Greeks used to drive it, thats why it was so well known in Greece Moon. Maybe its a compliment for yugo that is inside of one of our sayings here!

Back to 1974 we were ready to start one of the biggest car industries. We used to make the best constructions in whole Europe. But when things went bigger, these people that started this company wanted a loan to continoue this business. The whole thing stuck to the ministry because some people there wanted to make money from this issue.

Since my vaping start I love to look all products and tested many... the more GG Items I got the more I see how poor minded most of the vaping engeneers are. Its funny how they only copy GG functions and parts. Its very sad that people stealing Imeo's inventions and now doing bigstyle 1:1 copy and sell them bigtime. I saw one of them and had to smile that they do copy it 1:1 and dont make the polish. Its rly ugly to have that sandy mouthpiece. Sadly people who never had a GG dont notice this fact.
Lately when my friend who also is vaping tells me about new vapes coming out ... I just get bored and see GG Inventions all over them.
I wait for the next GG presale and are pretty much set. GG gives me the best vaping experience. Thanks Imeo for your great inventions and best service ever. You realy satisfied this vaper.

But you have to know that what is going on really makes me happy. My dream was sometime all people make e-cigs like GG. I think that I reached my purpose and I want to keep it that way from now on

I really feel for you Imeo! I think you take people copying you with real class. If it was me I would be going insane. Its really sad that something more can't be done with these blatant copies. I'm surprised they didn't just engrave them with the GG name. Really this is getting quite ridiculous. Everyone, only buy the real thing. If you buy their fakes it only encourages them to make more. I wouldn't buy one for a dollar or even be seen vaping that thing. What an insult.

Imeo i'm sorry that there are so many copies out there, you don't deserve that.
In germany there are many who wouldn't buy a GG Clone but when i read in the forums
the excuse is the availbility. I hear i would buy GG but not over a presale and not with 6 month (or longer) waiting time and at least not for more than the retail in the classies.
The demand is still high on your products. Raise your production. Build the "old" GG stuff there where you sell them.
Build the new & special stuff in greek till all is perfect.
That what now is going on is just the beginning. Really i wish you all the best, keep it like now and otheres will earn the cash on your products. And do it like Apple and safe the patent on the design and techique

Thanks a lot for the advices disar and I am very glad to hear that too many Germans will not buy a copy. But its very important to me that people buy fakes. That means that they would buy anything that is like GG and this make me feel really nice.
As for the money, I never made GG series for the money. I only want my name to be written on e-cig history. Money is secondary issue for me

"That" German online store is really doing "fair" bussines. After Ody clone called Nautilis, now they are preparing to sell GGTS and Penelopy clones:

But beside clones, I have heard very crazy story on one serbian e-cig forum... and serbian people (similar to greek, as I'm sure Imeo knows) can make conspiracy story from everything... so the story goes that because of quality of built and the fact that those clones are almost identical to original, Imeo is behind this... he is selling GG products to the "fools" which throw away money just so they can say that they have GG, and this clones are cheaper edition, without GG logo, for everyone else.

And they finish this theory with "Didn't Imeo said that he will satisfy every vaper out there?"

What I don't get is why, if they're going to copy, do they always copy the older versions? I mean, the Nautilus is a clone of the Ody v1, and that GGTS copy is obviously a clone of an older run.

If they're going to copy, why don't they copy the improved, updated versions? It's like they're just grabbing the first thing they can get their hands on and cloning it, without even bothering to look at what they're copying.

You are right. However I rairly touch my mouthpiece with my teeth although I do know people that do bite down on them. . And I would be willing to bet that 95%+ of driptip makers make them smooth because that is what most people want and never think about what the roughness would do to your teeth. I would bet that you are probably one of the few that would think about what the finish of the mouthpiece would do to someone's teeth. Most manufacturers probably decide the finish based on costs or what markets are trending at.

But a product has to be made in the best possible way. You have to test it by yourself, you have to think how a customer will feel with it, what problems can occur with its everyday usage, how easy is its operation, how it looks in his hands, how comfortable is when he vapes it, to eliminate health issues, and so many other things.

As for the mouthpiece, I know what can happen to your teeth. My teeth are not in a very good shape after 4 years of biting metals because I cant find qwick my pliers!!!!
The bad thing is that all people involved in this industry dont think the customer at all, only themselfes. Its because they dont know many things about constructions. They are regular people that found a cnc to make constructions and the most of them if not all of them are copies. I am not talking about GG copies, they are hundrends. I am talking about other constructions like genesis atomizers. They are all the same.

I love the look of GGs and I also love the genuine generosity that Imeo displays in his contests.
Another thing that makes me want to set out to buy a real GG one day is the way Imeo laughs axaxaxax.

I just bought a Smoktech Natural mod Imeo, and I bought it because I really like the idea of the pinky button.
I was wondering what your thoughts on the smoktech natural mod were?
I did not 'really' want to buy something that blatantly reminded me of a GG mod. I really didn't.
Because I have seen your stance on the clones and I felt like I wanted to agree w/ur stance & your feelings.

But when I saw the Smoktech Natural, I didn't think GG steal. I saw a tube mod with pinky/side button.
The button does not resemble the GG mods one bit in my opinion which I also found commendable.
I thought 'this is a company that sees the popularity in pink/side buttons but does not want to totally copy GG'
So I bought one because I've been wanting a side pinky button to come closer to completing my immediate collection.
When it comes to me, I want to have everything that I saw and liked when I started vaping.
So a side/pinky button on a mechanical mod is a part of that, because I saw a GG and have wanted one since.
To me, the smoktech natural mod is a way to have that pinky button mech mod NOW, so I can save for a GG/epipe
or an eVic or something else that I want, while still being able to enjoy a side mounted button NOW. haha.

But I saw the AC9 copy after having ordered my smoktech natural and that makes me angry.
I mean, every eGo battery is a copy of Janty's eGo, right? So I guess smoktech has been copying all along, right?
But I really thought they put some effort into not directly copying Imeo's GG line with the Natural mod. (I hoped)
Now that I see that they plan to put a copy of a genesis atomizer on top of the natural mod, that really angers me.

Imeo, do you think the smoktech natural mod is a copy of GG products,
with the side button, even if it doesn't look exactly like a GG? Or do you think its a borrow?
and, you don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but,
what do you think about people borrowing your ideas to make new designs, like I feel the smok company did here?

I mean, I like the side/pinky switches and when I think of them, I think GG/Imeo...
and I wouldn't want mass producers or craft shops of mods, to be dissuaded from using the pink button...
Just because other people are ruining the e-cig design world by directly copying designs to the T.
