Ok, so I posted a few months ago stating that I was going to get an ecig.. and now I'm pretty much back to the beginning but with more technical knowledge...
but I still have a few questions...

In my first thread I stated that I wanted a good TH comparable to a Marlboro red.. and just recently a friend of mine bought some random one from the gas station that was a two piece and looked exactly like a cig.. but for the life of me I can't remember the brand.. but it felt like I was simply inhaling air.

I'm not gonna feel that way about the Joye 510 with some cartos am I? Oh and could anyone tell me a good place to purchase both the 510 starter kit and cartomizers? Right now I'm currently looking to buy the kit from Cignot, the one with the PCC, I'm not sure about the cartos yet.

But if I am going to feel that way should I go with the KR808D-1? I have heard a lot of good things about both but after doing a little bit more research I heard that the 808 puts out a better TH than the 510. Anybody know if this is true or not?

If anybody could help me out I would really appreciate it. I plan to purchase next week.

510 verses KrR808D-1....

These are types of e-Cigs. They do about the same thing. If you are looking for TH, don't get all wound up on is a 510 better than a KR808D-1.

It's the e-Juice that makes the TH. If you put poor juice into either one of these e-Cigs your not going to be happy.

If you want and e-Cig that gives a Great TH, you should be asking what type of juice should I get.

I would pass on both of them and go for the eGo. Same as the 510 but the battery life on the eGo is much better. And +1 on the juice for TH. The nic level affects TH too. Stronger nic= more TH. I vape 24mg and the TH feels almost the same as an analog. I also vape a mint 18mg and although it has a good TH, not as much as the 24mg.

Good sale on the eGo here IMHO.

Hello again jerw10. Here's an idea, if you were to order the 510 carto kit I gave you the link to you could also get this adapter: 510 to 901/808-D Adapter from the same site for $2.49 and a box of kr808 cartomizers: Refillable 808-D Cartomizers for $9.00 and use it all on your 510 batteries. This way, for $45.48 total you could decide for yourself. :)

I use a KR808D-1 and I love it! The battery life is way better I get at least 4 hours of heavy vaping and a fully charged battery will last my entire shift at work ( we can only use them on break the same as analogs). My friend at work has a 510 and she gets about the same performance. The only REAL difference I see is that the 510 was 3 piece and the 808 was a 2 piece. I have recently seen cartos designed for the 510 and my friend who uses the 510 thinks this is a way cool thing. Just throwing it out there! I see quite a few of us from MI on this forum! I would love to see another vape party!

MsV, should be another party this fall. join the Michigan vaper's social group if you want to keep up on the developments.
Where the h.e. double hockeysticks is Boon? (probably wondering where Brooklyn is too, huh.)
Well, welcome to both of you Michiganders. The more the merrier.

Never mind. I just looked up Boon in my MI. road atlas. You're a ways east of Manistee. That'd only be about a three hour drive, maybe two, down US 23 to White Lake where we had the vape party. Took me an hour and a half to get there. We had some juice venders come up from Akron, Ohio.
There's usually hotel info posted in the threads about the party when it gets finalized so yeah, c'mon down!

Well, I recently did some more research and I've heard that most people that buy the e cig lookin ones end up going with a hybrid or whatever. What are some good hybrids or mods out there?

And I'm looking to spend around $125 for my first order.. hopefully including a starter kit, PCC, and usb passthrough with some cartos and some juice. I was looking at the starter kit for the 808 on V4L for around $90 and it's got all the goodies minus more cartos and liquid... is this a realistic price for all the stuff I want with the 510? And with a hybrid would I be spending a lot more money?

And I am from Crystal, MI about 30 minutes away from Greenville.. it'd be about a 2 hour drive to White Lake =[

Do you think that it would be worth it compared to a mega battery? I don't think that I would be away from a USB port for too long so that's why I am ordering a USB passthru with my first order... so I think maybe a 2-3 hour battery life should be fine. I would only stealth vape at work occasionally. How long would a 280mah last?
