I just ordered mine from Cigeasy after hours of grueling research. Is this particular version different from the V4L one? Or the carts? Either way, V4L was slightly more expensive than I was willing to pay after picking juices and extra carts and whatnot.
Can't decide - 510 or KR808D-1?

i'm still pro 510, the KR8 may seem to be the easier fix for beginners, but i can't share the hype about TH, and i am still concerned about the burning of the filler material.

Not me,Ive done 510,801 and 808 and 808 is by far my fav.Its easier to use and at 24 the throat hit is strong.The vapor4life xlong batts last about 6-7 hrs add a few cartos and I love it!!
Burning the filler material? That only happens if you vape a cartomizer too long and all of the juice is gone. There's adequate warning before you get to that point; the vapor and flavor decrease noticeably, then if you keep going, you'll get a burnt taste. If you stop then, you'll still be able to salvage the carto for refill.
In nearly three months, I've only burnt one - and that's because I was so enjoying my banana carto that I ignored the telltale signs.
I don't think the KR8 is over-hyped at all. I think it's fantastic.
Sadly, that's just not true. All you have to do is vape faster than the outer filler can deliver liquid to the inner wrap. You can burn the inner wrap when your cartomizer is still quite "full" of liquid. And yes, I have examples.
I continue to hope that the burning/melting inner wrap is not harmful. I honestly don't think it is.. but don't have solid proof. And yes, I still continue to use a KR808D-1. Just ordered some VG cartomizers as a matter of fact.

The only thing that really stands out from all these types of threads is, it doesn't really matter because in the end, we all ultimately become obsessed and SUCCESSFULLY quit the analogs once and for all.
And yes, we do become obsessed...8-o

I would've considered myself a hardcore 510 proponent until a couple days ago when I got the carto adapter for my Xhaler and tried the GreenCig cartomizers... They seem to have less throat hit than what I'm used to from the 510s and other atomizers, but the flavor really explodes out of these things. I haven't tried the KR8's yet, but will be ordering some soon. In the meantime, I put a couple drops of whatever flavor juice I want into the battery end of the cartos until it wont take any more.
