OK, I was curious about the HV 801 so I bought it. Managed to get juice into one battery and probably shorted it out. Well, now it has happened to the other one. :( Now I am in the process of trying to pull all of the juice out of it and see if I can recover it or if it is totally hopeless.

Can't wait to get a higher voltage manual battery...hypnotic mist just won't taste the same in an eCo with LR atomizer.

I **may** have managed to do it on my own....don't know yet as only time will tell. I wound up using modified qtips and paper towels twisted into sharp points along with good old fashioned lung power trying to suck the liquid out. At this point, I am not going to squabble over volts....that is not what my original post was about anyway.

No apology necessary, though.

Anyway, the lights on them quit flashing and then I stuck them on the charger. Apparently they are charged as the light turned green. Unfortunately, I am now waiting for the attys to dry.

BTW--my one experience with automatics...and I still don't like them.
