Wow, cheaper than the RM2?

I guess it's all a matter of perspective, but having started messing with rba's fairly early on the RM2 MSRP already seems like it's damned near free.

Still going to try one-who am I kidding-but it's got a tough row to hoe against the RM2 due to it's features, build quality and price.

Mang, I was hoping you'd go with the IGO-S. Great little atty. I have two modded for bottom feed (thanks bee!) and I must say, I like them (performance wise) as much as my non AFC BF Cyclone. I could use several more. This is a wonderful time to be in Reoville. Lots of good things happening. Laissez le bon temps rouler à la Reoville!

I am going to be adding the igo-s to the line up . I placed a bulk order I should have them in about a week . Nice little atomizer that fits in the grand and the mini 2.1 . I have been running one on my grand nice little atomizer . This will be more affordable then the rm2 its really simple to mod

http://

Base looks just like a Hornet! And alot cheaper!

The only RBA's I have had are the Reomizer, A-7, A-7 Mini, and RM2.

I just sold all my A7's because of the performance and tired of using adapters so they wouldn't short.

Really love the RM2.

I am wary about a smaller, more compact area for building coils. I see that it does have a side air hole. Priced lower is nice.

Undecided at this point about trying a new RBA.

Pretty damn spoiled by the RM2!

Rob, I hope you won't mind my honest opinion.

RM2 beats the pants off the IGO, by a long shot. Matter of fact (or rather, my opinion), even RM1 beats it. I've ripped apart a few IGOs to turn them to bottom feeders. Here are the problems I've encountered with them:

1. Posts are too close. With no ceramic bottom, that causes it to heat up pretty badly with anything below 1.5 ohm
2. Stock o-rings have to be replaced, or the lid will be too slidey
3. Even the variation with little lip around the deck seems to leak excess juice into the catch cup
4. Air hole is too small. Not a problem for you, as I'm sure you've drilled a few of them out :)
5. Drip tip hole is a strange size. Only a few drip tips fit.

If you were too look for more atties that could be converted to bottom feeding, I would look into trident or immmortalizer clones. They both offer something functionally different from RM2. All that IGO can offer is a cheaper, but worse vaping atomizer.

Just to add.

If I were looking for an upgrade to RM2, the features I'd be looking for would be a better possibility of dual coils (can do in RM2, but it's pretty tricky), and AFC.

Before the milling of catch cups, the selection was severely limited by diameter of the atty to modify. Now it's not :)

Incidentally, when you introduced RM2, you've discontinued RM1, as the 2 was a clear upgrade. With the next one, I'd recommend keeping RM2 in the lineup still, as it is currently the easiest to set up, and at the same time best vaping bottom feeder atomizer available, bar expensive and unavailable Chalice.

I have no plans to get rid of the rm2 . I am simply adding another option . I use a igo-s every day in my opinion it vapes great mine never gets hot . There is no one perfect atomizer everyone has there own opinion . There are people that dont like the rm2 . Yes with the milled grands there are plenty of options but there are over 15000 of my mods out there that these atomizer wont fit . I am adding a very simple cheaper atomizer to the line up not trying to out do the reomizer . You would be hard pressed to beat the atty in my opinion . But any atomizer if set up properly can produce if its set up properly

Agreed, Rob.

In that case, could I suggest you take a look at these?

A6 Dual Coil Stainless Steel Rebuildable Atomizer
Dual Coil friendly. Not sure if it would fit. It might, from the looks of it.

$5.58 Phoenix NIMBUS2 Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - 1.0
Dual coil, AFC.

$5.94 V13 RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - 3-airhole at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I know I called the thread ERA Clone, but this is somewhat closer to the IGO. Empire Mods no longer have it :( It's just like the IGO, but with a little lip around the deck.

Commie, as much as I respect and value your opinions, I have to disagree with you about the IGO-S.

The post are no closer than the well respected Cyclone and ERA/Hornets. I would always recommend the RM2 to anyone new to RBAs. But for the experienced (Hendrix flash back), the close posts and metal deck should pose little risk. I don't get a hot top cap with a .6-.8Ω coil even when the coil is close to the air hole.

I admit that the stock o-rings may not be quite tight enough. However, I don't get leaks since I've gotten used to squonking them (I have two modded for bottom feed). I like the fact that the cap comes off easily. I like to look inside often and a screw top is a PITA. Different strokes here. I find that if I do get liquid out of the bottom of the cap it is usually because I've been over zealous with squonking and even so it is not so much that it causes problems. I have to say, I usually don't carry my REOs in my pants pockets but I can see where the slidey cap isn't pocket friendly and I can see where that would be a prob for a lot of folks. Maybe Rob would be able to offer different o-rings.

The air hole may be too small for you but it is just right for me - again, different strokes.

I find that the deck lip actually helps to me not get leaks.

I have several different variations (metal and plastic and delrin) of drip tips and they all fit the IGOS. Maybe I got lucky but I don't think so.

Trident or Immmortalizer clones are no doubt good attys but a bit more complicated, fiddly and expensive than the dead simple Igos. I like the simplicity of the IGOs.

Further more, IMO, the small chambers of the IGO-S and the Cyclone etc. offer up the best flavor. As much as they were a PITA, that was the best thing about the VIVI NOVAS, unparalleled flavor because the vapor was shot-gunned straight from the coil through a narrow tunnel. (Vivi Novas sucked in almost every other way)

As far as the RM2 being the easiest to set up....it is easy. But being the easiest is, I think, open for discussion.

Dual coils in an IGO-S are quite doable. But with the smaller chamber, I don't see the point. Others may and that's cool but again, why put duals in a small chambered atty? Maybe cloud chasers would appreciate it but they could alway add an air hole and have at it. Duals would probably pose a heat issue in an IGO-S.

Cheaper than trident and immmortalizer clones and RM2 , yes. Worse, depends on ones perspective.
