Hello all, just signed up, so saying hello.
I have been playing around with vaping for a few years now but decided to quite the smokes and get serious.
I purchased the NoteBook from Black Note e liquids, a sample of tobacco flavored juice.
I ordered in the 18mg strength but find it too strong.
Is it possible to add some VG/PG to lower the mg strength without losing flavor ?
The mix at the moment is PG/VG 50/50, do i keep it at 50/50 ?
I want to get more vape clouds so could I change it to VG %? PG %?
Not sure what to do.....All help appreciated.

Cheers
Paul

Howdy and welcome :)
If you cut it with base you will most likely lose flavor. That is the way of things. If the flavor component was strong enough you might not, but commercial juice often has the bare minimum of flavor in it. You could try it I suppose. Useless juice you can’t vape isn’t worth anything so all you’re out is the money you spent anyway plus the cost of some VG which is cheap. VG produces more cloud than PG, but also mutes flavor. Some flavors more than others so you could get a flavor change as well as a flavor reduction. It will also make the juice thicker.

Thanks for the welcome Bomb and Diver
Great advice from both, thank you.
I have some vg and pg so will try a bit of experimenting.
Any ideas on the percentage I should use to get to say....12mg
Cheers
Hi Paul and welcome,
The black note juices are in 10ml bottles.
If you add 5ml of PG and/or VG, your result is 15ml of juice at 12mg/ml.
IMO: Pick up a few 20ml chubby gorillas to make mixing easier.

Cheers

your best bet would be to get another bottle of the same juice but in 0nic
if you mix the two juices in equal parts it'd then be 9mg

you can buy the juice in any other strength, it's up to you, just 0 is easier on the math ;)

so say you bought a 3 mg, mixed in equal parts would be 18 + 3 =21/2=10.5mg

as for the pg/vg ratio....the same would apply if you got the juice in higher vg (not sure on the math of that though)

you can always add a few drops of vg into the tank of juice you are using but it may dilute the flavor but may not be that noticeable

If you want more clouds, higher vg will help, but with that you’ll need a device geared towards clouds as well. Mtl tanks tend to be high ohms, low watts, and work better with lower vg. So you’ll want to consider getting something sub ohm and a mod capable of keeping up, if you don’t already have such, before getting a high vg juice.
