ok so ive been running my 510 strong for about a week now. everything is stock, other than ADM in the cart. anyway, i know that they stock 510 batts dont have a very good life on them between charges, but i have noticed lately that when charging with my PCC the batt life is even less. like cut in half. but when i charge it on the regular plug in charger its alright. not great but much better. am i wearing my batts down already? at first the PCC was doing great as a charger and i was using it exclusively. but had to resort to the wall charger after a significant drop in batt life was observed.

im actually considering picking up a 5 pack of batts just to keep around because of this. hahaha.

i am also considering an eGo, but right now i still want to stick to the realistic look of the regular 510. i dunno, the fat-batts just look funny to me still (even though i know im missing out with the awesome battery life they provide.)

Normal-sized batteries are 3/8" in diameter. My eGo 1000mAh battery is 1/2" in diameter, so it's only 1/8" more in diameter. I love it and haven't regretted buying two of them.

Your problem with the PCC sounds like the same problem I had with a Volcano PCC and starter kit batteries. It seemed to get worse each day, and I finally quit using all of the parts after about a week. The battery initially lasted about 45 minutes, then 30 minutes, then 20 minutes, then 10 minutes, and now, it hardly works.

Also, the 3 Volcano Magma passthroughs I bought and received on 09/20 are no longer working, so I wrote to Volcano today to let them know (but I received two Manual 5V 510 passthroughs from madvapes.com in the mail today and am wondering how long they will last...the quality is much, much better, they've worked every time so far today, and they're plugged into a 2amp wall adapter and not the computer USB port).

Welcome NukeDOC. I also have a 510 ( actually a modernvapor 902 which is the same thing ) but my battery life seems to be pretty good. I still charge it exclusively in the PCC and it gets about 45 minutes to an hour of moderate vaping before I need to recharge it. I have an eGo on order and I here there is about 8 hours battery life per charge with that one. Is the battery you are having problems with an automatic or manual? I had a lot of trouble with my auto battery because I kept getting juice into it after filling a cart. The life got shorter and shorter until it finally died completely
