Hi everyone! I've been researching e-cigs for many months but was so overwhelmed by all the options I kept giving up and never could bring myself to place an order. Finding ECF was what helped me finally figure out what would be a good starter for me and placed an order. I received my Volt almost two weeks ago and all I can say is WOW! I haven't touched a cigarette in almost two weeks, and I have absolutely no desire to ever again. I'm having so much fun finding new juice flavors and learning about new equipment I think I may have a new addiction (luckily a much healthier one!).

It seems like a great group of people here and I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Congratulations on making the switch to become smoke free!

I started with another 808 model, but on recommendation I tried the Volt and I haven't looked back. The fun part is finding all the new flavors after about 4 to 6 weeks in - that's when the ol' taste buds seem to remember what they are there for and really kick into high gear without smoke getting in the way. Of course, as my signature indicates, it could be a little more interesting to the pocketbook (well, maybe interesting isn't quite the word I should use ;) ).

Hi Dee,
Glad to hear you are enjoying your Volt. I have been using mine for one week now. I love it. I'm sure you know the cig size vape gets kind of a crappy wrap from some people. But, if it works it works. To each his/her own. I enjoy mine so much I have a problem of vaping even when I don't have a craving, I just like the way it looks and feels and it works so well for me. I smoked 30+/day for 20 years and I was astonished at how well the Volt filled that void.......sorry, had to grab a quick drag. lol. I too was overwhelmed. I don't how many times I had my information filled out on a site to order a product, but then second guessed myself and left. Finally I liked what I saw with the reviews of the Volt and the options on SI's site, I finally made up my mind to click purchase. Never looking back. Good luck to you. Peace.

So glad to see you here, too, thedigger! I, too, have a problem putting down my Volt at times. I also have their X2 "big battery" but I use both the regular Volts and the X2 pretty much equally, depending upon where I'm at. I have a habit of marathon vaping with my Volts, so I took myself down to 6mg and 0mg nic for the most part, just so I can marathon and not feel guilty and not get too much nicotine in my system. Also keeps me away from the candy drawer... ;)

Looking forward to seeing lots of you and Dee72 in the Smokeless Image forums to share your experiences and insights!

I've been looking at the X2 batts. Most likely one of my next purchases in the near future. I got 24mg, so if I can't slow down the marathons, I'm gonna have to cut back strength too. Even when the strength hits extra hard and it does often, I still can't put it down. lol.

Hi Dee, Its a great feeling isnt it to be free of the ol stinkies!

I dont vape any of the tobacco flavours as I dont see the point in trying to replace the stink of cigs when I have soooo many new flavours that are actually nice instead of burnt dried up foliage!

Well done on kicking the cigarettes.

Dave.....

While awaiting my first e-cig kit, I vaped a Blu disposable from walgreens. The darn thing was 24mg, and it was way too much for me, made me pretty woozy really fast. I smoked "lights" for most of my smoking years. I went to 12mg and that is the highest I can vape at this time. When I realized how much I was using my Volts, I started looking for something satisfying in flavor at a 0 nic, just for in the evening when I have a constant vape going. I found one, and I don't feel guilty or get woozy. Different folks have different tolerance levels, though, so go with what works for you and adjust as necessary so you don't get too much, but get enough so that you don't wander back to tobacco cigarettes. :)

If you guys are new, since taste is really subjective. I recommend going to your local vape meets, their is tons of people there, always willing to help you out. At the vape meets you can try other people setups to see what you like. I was surprised at the stuff i assumed i would have liked, and I tried at the meet and it wasn't for me.

Thank you
