Hi All!
Coming out of lurker mode to say hello and introduce myself...
I've been a smoker for ~24 years, pack and a half to two packs a day of Marlboro menthols. I tried an e-cig for the first time at the end of January when my mom brought some to Vegas for me and my sister. Liked the concept, liked the fact that it cured the early morning cigarette craving, but didn't like the fact that it made me cough, and thought the flavor was horrible.
I started a new job when I got back, and my boss was using a blu in his office - while I was fiddling at my desk wanting to go outside and smoke, he was happily vaping away... so I figured I might as well give it another shot, and ordered a blu starter kit for myself. The blu was ok, but it wasn't appealing enough to drop the analogs entirely.
So I started looking further, reading here and elsewhere, and purchased a V4L kit. I went from 2 packs a day to a half a pack a day pretty much instantly, and placed my first juice order. Spent a weekend playing with juices and various strengths of liquid, and methods of cleaning cartomizers, and reading here, and when Sunday night rolled around I realized I hadn't had a cigarette in 3 days. I had an open pack sitting on my desk, and no desire to touch them. Strangest feeling ever to toss a nearly full pack of cigs without an anxiety attack!
That's the nutshell version of my story so far. I've been analog free for 9 days, and intend to stay that way. Thank you so much for sharing all of the information here - couldn't have done it without ya!
