I've been vaping for 3 full days now, without touching a single analog. My husband has been analog-free since New Years Day, but I just couldn't bite the bullet. But I finally did it & it's working. I'm using an 1100 mah ego battery with 1.5 ohm atty. I've tried countless liquids ("here honey, try this one"), but just couldn't get anything close to my Virginia Slim Menthol Ultra Light. I finally tried Hype and it's been great. I learned the hard way that searching for that flavor would never help me give them up!

It's going great. I don't see any reason why I'd ever go back. And now, I can't even imagine what I was thinking even wanting to emulate that taste!

Flavor wise, my only big tip is to make the trek to a vape shop if you've got one in your state, then try the many flavors they have.

Also: The BIGGEST tip (outside of drink lots of water) you can be given is to find whatever flavor sounds terrible and like something you'd hate. Because that's your favorite vape, and your all day vape.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!

I'm in the Houston area, surely there is a vape shop somewhere around here, right? ;)

So far, I've tried about 5 different flavors (all pushed on me by my loving husband). I was all "ick, eww, gross!" until he shared something a smart veteran vaper (from ECF) told him. He told him that I needed to stop looking for a flavor that matched what I normally smoked, because I would never find it. And then, I equated it to going from regular Coke to Diet Coke. You know what regular Coke tastes like... you've drank it for years. Diet Coke is just nasty at that point... however, you CAN switch to Diet Pepsi and it tastes pretty darn good to you. Your tastebuds aren't acclimated to the taste of regular Pepsi, so Diet Pepsi is something completely different & you don't even notice that it tastes all "diet-y".

That may be a bit of a simple-minded theory for some... but it was just what I needed to grab that fruity mix of liquid and decide... this isn't so bad after all. :)
