Well, where to begin? Guess everyone tells their story first off... mines fairly boring. I'm 28 (well in 2 days), been smoking for about 4 years (stupidest thing I've ever done). I've noticed the dramatic decline in my health and activity level and decided enough is enough. Anyhow, while researching ways to quit, I remembered one of my buddies had a prescription inhaler thing that mimiced smoking. So I start scouring the net looking for this device... and happened onto this forum. After researching e-cigs for about 2 weeks I finally bought 2 (from skyrl). The main reason is because I'm actually addicted to the "throat hit" feeling. I could care less about nicotine (it's odd, I know). Well my e-cigs came in 2 days ago, and I'm lovin' this stuff.
One thing that seems very odd to me. It's only been 2 days of vaping, however, my lungs are hacking up. See, when I "quit" for about 4 weeks, 2 years ago, my lungs did the same thing at around week 3, hacked up all the bad stuff. This seems WAY too soon for me to be "clearing" my lungs, granted it's not as hardcore as it will be in about 3 weeks. Anyone else experiance this? I'm guessing it's the vapor that my lungs are getting used to.
Anyhow, just wanted to say hey! Hopefully this works out for me, won't know for a while, since I can regularly go a week or 2 without a cig and be alright.
Oh and yes I signed the petition to help get fda approval on these, I really don't see how "analogs" (as you guys call em) can be legal, but a great alternative can be illegal.
