Another noob just checking in....

Wow...WOW...and WOW!!!! I still can't believe I haven't "smoked" in a week!!!!
Been on the nasty Analogs (getting used to the lingo here) for 25 years.
A pack to pack and a half a day. Tried patches when they came out, cold turkey here and there and some cheap e-cigs about a year and a half ago....none worked. Figured I would just smoke till the earth stopped spinning.
Heard about the ego-t from two people within just a few days and on the drive to get my regular weekly Sherman MCD Light's, I said screw it ill try these e-cig's out again......not even in the mindset of quitting at that point!!
This was last Thursday, June 21st. (I'm inserting dates so I can look back and "remember" better) I still had over a half pack of analogs left and figured I would finish those off and start vaping.........got home and couldn't just leave the new toy I bought alone!!!
It all changed in that moment and took me nearly 5 days to finish that half pack of analogs, mostly needed the morning smoke but that wore off quickly.
Now to the new problem....I have the ego-t kit, three "stardust tanks", eight bottles of various liquid's and a VTube with two DCT's on the way. Hopefully getting those tomorrow!!!!!
I'm only 11 days into this!??!!??! Guess I'm just trying to find the perfect setup.....??
So anyway, ill cut this short for now, just still on a "high" from the thrill of quitting analogs and the thrill of learning this new way of "LIFE".

Your story sounds similar to a lot of others. My quitting of cigarettes was a lot more deliberate than yours, but my ordering of vaping gear is very similar. There's always some new hardware to try and there is always the quest for the perfect juice.

Congrats on 1 week without cigarettes. You're off to a great start.

In time you'll find the right combo that works best for you. Seek and ye shall find! I think you'll like the tanks much more than the stardust but to each his own. Finding the right juices is also key - that's what will really keep you satisfied and further away from what you are leaving behind.

I like the stardust at times, but get that I want more feeling.....? Betting that the VV will do the trick and go at it from there with tank setups. And yes, the variety and amount of options in the juice world will keep me entertained for some time, so far I have loved all the ones that I have tried. LOL

I'll say this every body here is so cool its like walking into a room of strangers only to realize there your friends. Congratulations on your recent Triumph over analogues . I'll tell you the truth in my opinion. There's more setups and gear to this culture than you and I can imagine. One you may want to look at is a silver bullet with a HH357 510 atty. don't get me wrong tanks are cool and all but call me a purist. I went from some crappy e cig right to this set up and never looked back. Now I have a few pretty high quality mods and custom juices all in a few months. Vaping is 1000times better than the real thing. Especially with the hh 357's.

I will be getting a few other options other than tanks, I just fell into the ease of use of tanks too quickly I'm guessing. But they do the trick when out and about. I know I have a world of experimenting to do!!
And about this forum, I have been lurking for over a week and my brain hurts from all the info I have crammed into it and only have scratched the surface.
This seems like a helpful, knowledgeable group and I hope to become one of the wise elders at some point.

im another newb and just wanted to say i HATED on the stardusts for the first few weeks i had them, tried with a different flavor today and its a completely different experience. not to derail your thread but is there like a "preferred" stardust flavor or something? i hated on them to the point of having phoenix BC's and a vivi nova coming tomorrow and now my plans are all out of wack good problem to have i guess

Same thing here.....one day I love them, the next day I hate them. They seem really inconsistent to me. And for me it does this regardless of flavor. I have had the same juice in one (refilled many times) and still love-hate it.
Plus I have both long wick and short wick, low res and reg and same story....

i also have an irrational fear that all of my juices will crack them (because it happened once), keeps me up at night lol. supposedly the phoenix line is better with that
