Help ! I'm killing my attys  and I have no idea how.
I've been vaping for 36 days now and have gone thru 5 attys, all purchases from different suppliers.
I have a 901, and from 8am to 1pm I vape a few times an hour, but when I get off work it never leaves my mouth, I have two e-cigs, and swap back and forth.
Is there anyone out there that can fix these things?
I can't afford to keep buying them, and right now I can't afford to buy another kind of e-cig. I use carts that I refill with flavored liquid

I'm open to any suggestions or ideas.
Thanks

Are they just stone cold dead or just weakening? I've been vaping for a little over a month also and have only lost one atty. It had diminished, so I ran it through my jewelry cleaner a bunch of times. Don't try this at home! I used a solution of vinegar and it took the paint off my atty and disintegrated the wick. So, technically, I murdered it. Other than that, I haven't had any issues. I don't clean mine anymore. I just blow them out once in a while.

kreel: No I get my liquid from 1 supplier, I buy 36 to share and I dilute with flavorless 11 down to my 24/25. They just up and die, one minute I'm vaping and then go to drag again and nothing.

CherryPop: they look perfectly fine to me. I did have one that started to taste "burnt" before it died. They must be depressed and want to leave home.

For the same reason 5w30 added to a car's engine running with 10w40.

Think about it.

Hmmmm.

So then, *if* I am following you correctly, lower viscosity is better for the attys, which would explain why VG liquid blends are reported to kill attys more quickly.

I wouldn't have thought, though, that unflavored 11 mg would be much that much more viscous than plain PG, assuming that the unflavored 11 is PG-only based.

Does nicotine really increase e-liquid's viscosity significantly?
This is from some who has only vaped 24mg.

Following this thread with interest.

I cut all my liquids with food grade Glycerine.
I also boost low or no nic liquids with 36mg unflavored.
Been vaping over six months - like a steam engine, unless I'm sleeping... and never had an atomizer die on me.

That's quite impressive, and good to hear.
What atomizers are you using?
