I'm sure that this has been brought up in varying detail, but I'd like to reiterate some things.

I went to an outdoor festival with my friends and family that not only permitted smoking but had dozens of ashtrays scattered throughout the eating areas and bingo tent. I decided to play bingo since there was nothing better to do anyway for adults. I sat at a table in the back of the tent. There were three unused ashtrays of varying size in front of me, and out of the 30 people playing bingo, there were about 5 smokers. First of all, since I've started vaping, my body has become less tolerable of tobacco smoke. At the end of the night, my throat was very dry after having inhaling the secondhand smoke during bingo. Second, I realized that regardless of the wind speed outside, not only did the smell of tobacco smoke travel very far from the smoker but the smoke itself was very visible from several feet away. When I vape in the wind, it's almost impossible for someone near me to notice that I'm vaping because the vapor evaporates very quickly into the wind. However, the wind seemed to have little effect on the appearance or odor of the tobacco smoke in the bingo tent. Does anyone else notice this phenomenon? Doesn't this make it easier to stealth vape than stealth smoke? I would think very much so.

Lol, I had no idea you could stealth smoke! At least Ive never been able to pull it off.

Tobacco smoke definitely lingers; there is an mechanic in the building next to my shop who lets his guys smoke inside and I swear to god every time I walk past his bay door its like getting slapped in the face with the cigarette smell.

After only two months of not smoking, I was amazed one day when I was in my car in traffic, at a stop light, with my windows up, and my air conditioning on, that all the sudden I could smell smoke very strongly. I look around and someone is smoking in their car in front of me. But again I had my windows all the way up!

Though I have to say, I still love the smell of smoke (have since I was a child), and I won't ever be calling them "stinkies."

I have a hard time breathing in a room where people are smoking. Jeez Luise, I some times feel bad for all the folks I offended when I used to smoke. I can't believe how bad that stinks now and how poorly I handle it. Now that it's 100 deg everyday (Texas, go figure) I have to roll down the window to breath; totally ruins the effect of the air conditioner.
