Thanks everyone!
Just got a call that one of the kids I worked with in one of my schools was killed in a car accident.
I have been summonsed by my work to go meet with school folks and maybe some other students who are grieving.
This will be between 2 and 5 today...should be home by 6 or so... Still plan to be here for my turning.
Just bad timing....

Thanks Tybin- I didn't actually know the girl but it still hit home.
The place was packed with kids and relatives who needed someone to talk to.
But I'm back now...ready to get on w/ the celebration!!

Yes, it was but everyone appears to be doing pretty well considering the circumstances. If you don't mind, I'd like to keep this sort of hush hush that I helped out- probably shouldn't have opened my big mouth here...but then again, I didn't think of anyone here being from where we live.. LOL
