Just posted a thread last week about wanting to upgrade my KR808 set-up and keep it simple. Well I ordered a 78mm Volt battery and a nano clearo as well as a 5 pack of CE3 clearos from SI. Well they seem to be taking their time getting the stuff to me so I have had some time to do some more research as well as discovering my needs may be a bit greater.

I just started with juices last week after getting my V2 Liquidmax clearos and love using juice. But I am finding that I am going though juice quicker than I was going through prefilled cartos. I also find that I need to switch to a second pen style battery by the end of the day. So obviously I need a little more to keep up with myself. But not a huge amount more. So I need some help from the more experienced members here.

What I want.

I bigger battery but nothing to big. I still wanna be able to take it to work and use it in public without attracting too much attention. I am thinking something in either a 650mAh or 900mAh. Ego or Volt X2 is what I am thinking. Either would be good to get me through a full workday or a whole day out. Nor sure which Ego if I go that route. Or if I should go auto or manual. Don't want to deal with VV or lower resistance as I still want to keep it simple.

Cleaors. I have decided I really like using clearos for the simple fact I can monitor my usage and not worry about getting caught without. So I need suggestions on what to use. I want larger capacity but not huge. Something that fits seamlessly with the battery. I like the refillable, disposable, longer lasting concept because they are less maintenance. But I would be game for something permanent that is easily to rebuild or replace a coil or wick for not a huge cost. Longer life is a priority for me too as I don't have much free time to be playing with different things. I have seen several like the Kanger MT3 and something like this would be ideal. I just don't want to buy something that is permanent and easily rebuildable but ends up being impossible because rebuild part become impossible to find or obsolete.

Remember trying to keep it simple and cost effective. :D Would like to have a single main battery and use my current pens as back-ups. And would also like to have a few clearos on hand for different juices and to have one to use while cleaning another.

Looking forward to any suggestions.

I'd suggest an eGo-C Twist for your battery. That way you can dial in to your tastes for different juices. And for your clearo, since you want it to be flush with the battery, I'd go with a Mini ViVi Nova. These you -can- rebuild, but you don't have to. You can also just buy replacement heads for them instead of buying disposable clearos. Also, you can get your heads in different ohm ranges to dial in even more for your tastes. With these two paired together, you have the option of simplicity like you are describing, a slim design, good long battery life, and you have the option to tinker if that ever appeals to you (which it probably will lol).

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not much of a tinkerer or experimenter so I don't feel the need to have adjustable voltage. In fact once I find a juice I really love I will prolly stick to one.

So what is the difference between the EVOD, Kanger MT3 and a Mini ViVi Nova??? Do these require frequent cleanings??? How often do parts need to be replaced???

Absintheur: That ProVari is way out of my price range.

most people tend to find out that just 1 juice will not do it.
the taste buds tend to go flat for awhile ie: you wont be able to taste the flavor.
so switch it up a little bit it helps keep your taste buds happy.
cleaning on a nova type setup is something that varies from person to person.
i clean my every 2 or 3 tank fulls but it only takes a few minutes to do.
as far as the heads go on the nova's i am still using heads that i have had for almost 3 months
as long as you clean them well and dont burn the wicks they can last quite awhile.

If you want to stick with 808 batteries so all your carts/clearos can go on any battery, check out the echo battery. It's available in 650 and 1300 mah. I like the ce5 clearo's. The wick/atomizer is easily replaceable, so when one wick fails, you just unscrew it and put a new one on. If you go with ego's, you will have to have different threaded clearo's for each battery. You can find adapters, but your difficulty of use is starting to go up.

Don't ignore VV.

Different juices do taste better at different voltages.

Manufacturing variations mean that all cartos / clearos / whatever that are labeled the same may not be exactly the same resistance, and being able to adjust is nice to keep the vape you like.

Coils change resistance during use, and again, VV helps offset that.

So is there anything like the EVOD, Kanger MT3 or Mini ViVi Nova that would work with 808 threads??? Since I already have three battteries and a bunch of clearos coming might be a consideration to be able to swap around.

I couldn't find anything, and only one vendor with CE5 clearo's that would fit on a 808. I finally gave up and ordered a mechanical mod, the natural, even though I prefer auto batteries. At least with the mod, I'm moving into the mainstream for all the accessories, so multiple products and multiple vendors. If I hate pushing a button, I'll still have my echo's to fall back on.

edit: you may be able to order 808 accessories from companies in China, I'm just not comfortable doing that.

Any answers to this question???

Any other fall into this similar category??? Also I guess I should have specified I would prefer bottom coil.
