Initial Impressions and features
When I first got this RTA It was as i expected. It’s just like the single coil Zeus RTA but with a dual coil deck. They also changed the airflow so it isn’t so high up, it’s much lower down barely above the deck. Outside of that there isn’t much of a difference. They even look almost identical except the dual coil version got rid of the metal cage inside the glass tank. It’s a good idea since it wasn’t needed and was only for design purposes and took up juice capacity. One thing worth noting on this, unlike typical geekvape products which surprised me, when i got it I did my normal, take it apart, rinse everything off, and build on it. Sadly this wasn’t enough, it still had a funny flavor to it. I didn’t see any machine oil, but that’s what it tasted like. I had to take it apart again and run it through my ultrasonic cleaner, then rinse it all down and after that the odd flavor went away, so make sure you clean it thoroughly if you get one. Overall it’s pretty much what i expected it to be, and that’s a good thing.

Build Deck and Wicking (pics above)
Let’s talk about the build deck now. It’s a normal postless deck. The airflow is much shorter than the original though. It’s really low to the deck. It’s not very finicky either there isn’t a big difference in flavor based on the height but i did like it best where you can see the bottom of the coil in the airflow only. Not a major difference though and you can’t get much lower than that so if you build it a little higher it’s no big deal. It’s not a huge deck either. 3.5mm is the max you can squeeze in there really. I found 3mm to be a good size to use with some room to spare. Since it’s postless it won’t be the easiest for new builders. You do need to precut leads on them, but outside of that it’s your standard postless deck. The use a good quality flat head grub screw and all the spares are flat head as well, I wish they had a set of hex screws personally. The good thing is they come in from the right side so it won’t twist leads on flat wires. Overall I really liked the deck but i’m a fan of postless decks, just remember they cna be frustrating if you are new to building.

Wicking on this one is an interesting one though. It’s pretty finicky and isn’t a lot of wiggle room for mistakes. The best way to wick this is make sure you really thin out your leads or you’ll vaporlock it and it won’t wick good. The other thing is unlike a lot of these types of decks that are slightly raised up where i wick to the bottom, don’t do it on this one. It’ll vapor lock. Wick it so the cotton is cut flush with the ring that you tuck it into it. If you wick it that way, it’ll work great and you can chain vape no issues. You take a puff and bubbles with come right up. If you wick too hard though or put the wicks to the bottom of the deck, you’ll vaporlock it and have to open the top cap to force it to wick.

Performance
Performance wise, I used it as a dual coil RTA only as is the name. I ran 4 builds in this. The 3 above, and one simple round but with 22G kanthal so pretty thick wire. All Builds 2.5mm-3.5mm ID. I tried to get a 4mm ID in but it was too tight. 3mm works really well and it is an RTA that you’ll want to fill up the deck for sure, but it’s a pretty small deck so it doesn't need a massive build. It’s a good amount of air and DTL for sure but not crazy airy either. I always kept the air wide open, never felt a need to close it down. It’s a pretty straightforward RTA. Overall the flavor was pretty average for a dual coil RTA. Nothing impressive and not one of the best, but more than acceptable if you don’t mind the minor sacrifice of flavor to get the leak resistant design.

Overall Impressions, Details, and Extras
It’s a top airflow RTA, where it’s channeled down the sides of the coils, and the AFC is smooth and it’s on a stopper, It’s adjustable easily on the mod as well as off it and has some knurling for grip. It has a top fill where you do a quarter turn to pop it off and then push down and quarter turn to lock it. There is no knurling on the top cap but it’s easy to grip and the threading is excellent. I’ve used 70/30, 80/20 and “max VG” juices in it. There is plenty of room for thick juices in use, but fill it slowly as it takes a second for the juice to get past the big chamber if it’s thick. In typical geekvape fashion, there is a ton of accessories that come with it, It comes with a 2 different wide bore 810 delrin drip tips and you can use any of your own. All mine fit well any style. There is also a 510 adapter and a 510 drip tip also black delrin. They sell an optional ultem 810 “rip tip” as well, I wish they included that or a resin one for variety instead of 2 delrin ones.

Like most geekvape products, the quality is good, all the threading is really nice and smooth. It’s easy to take apart. It’s a 26mm diameter so could have some minor overhang depending on your mod. The 4ml capacity is a little low for a dual coil RTA. Thye sell an optional 5.5ml bubble glass which should have been included as the spare. There is no JFC. I had no leaking or flooding issues and it handled chain vaping pretty good as well provided you wick it very lightly as i stated above. It doesn't need a JFC though due to the design. Branding is nice and simple. Zues logo on the chamber inside the tank. Geekvape on the top capo, and Zues on the bottom on both sides.

Pros:
  • Build Quality
  • 2 Standard 810 Drip tips and 510 tip and 510 adapter
  • good quality post screws (flat head)
  • price point (under 40 bucks on heavengifts)
  • good flavor for a leak resistant tank
  • large fill holes
  • great threading
  • easy to operate AFC
  • leak resistant
  • easy to remove top cap with large fill holes
  • nice postless deck
  • coil height isn’t finicky for flavor
  • 4 color options
  • plenty of spare o-rings and post screws and 2 coils included
Cons:
  • No gold or rainbow color is odd
  • 4ml capacity a bit low for a dual coil RTA
  • 26mm base may overhang for some
  • wicking can be finicky
  • optional accessories should have been included (ultem tip and bubble glass)
  • had to thoroughly clean it off before using, a simple rinse wasn’t enough
Conclusion
So with all that said, do I recommend this RTA?I don’t like to do a hard yes or no, this one is going to lean towards the yes though if you are looking for a leak resistant dual coil RTA and can build a postless deck and don’t mind it not being a flavor monster, it’s the best leak resistant dual coiler on the market overall. I wouldn’t recommend it for flavor chasers, but if you are someone who struggles with leaky RTAs, the Zeus will solve those issues for you at an affordable price with a well built RTA.

This is Anthony Vapes just keeping it honest, hopefully you all can say the same and i’ll catch you on my next review.

Review Disclaimer
I review products for what they are with no account of where it comes from or who makes it. The test results are the results for what is in my hand. Due to possible QC difference your experience may vary. There is no way for myself or anyone to predict if a device will last 6 months, 1 year, 5 years etc. Any manufactured item from cars to phones to computers to mods have a possibility of arriving DOA or having a small percent failure rate. There is no way to predict this or quantify this. That’s why warranties and lemon laws exist. I can only review what I have in my hand for better or for worse. Contrary to popular belief, there is no special review samples of higher quality. Most of the time personally i get retail versions, the few times i’ve gotten early releases they are usually worse than the final retail version.

Reviewer Disclaimer
I decided to add this disclaimer in as i feel it’s important for people to know their source of the review. I’ve been vaping since late 2011. I’ve vaped all the styles from MTL to RLH to DTL. tanks, RTAs, RDAs, you name it. I do prefer the DTL and RLH style over MTL personally. My main focus from an atomizer is flavor. For mods i’ve used mechs and regulated mods. I’m an avid temp control vaper but enjoy power mode as well and the occasion mech useage for nostalgia. I’ve been doing reviews since late 2016. As of Jan 2018 I’ve done over 100 written reviews and done over 150 video reviews on my channel, Although i’ve taken a break from videos in the past few months to focus on written reviews.

I spend a lot of time helping vapers on forums as well and try to answer all the questions and comments on my reviews. I’m not an “out of the box” reviewer. I do my best to be thorough at all times. All mods get tested with an oscilloscope and stress tested. At times if needed i’ll disassemble them as well. Rebuildables get multiple builds in them. Tanks i use all coils until the die or a minimum of 2 weeks if they don’t die sooner. I do this for the community to help people find good products and avoid bad ones. In my opinion a reviewer works for the community and nobody else. It’s our job to inform vapers of issues and not be advertisers as well as provide constructive criticism from a place of knowledge back to companies with these reviews so they can improve and make better products in the future.

Anthony,

I can't see your photo album, the photos are missing. I would really like to because I'm having problems wicking my Zeus. Seems like I keep flooding it. :(
