Any alternate battery choices for VV Grand? (And a story about the best customer service)

I've had three REOs now. I bought two grands and used those for a long time. Then I experimented with VV and couldn't wait for a VV Grand to come out. As soon as it did I pulled the trigger one one and was a happy camper. Then my switch failed, I emailed Rob and he said just send it back and he'd fix it. I dropped it in the mail on a Monday. It arrived to Rob on a Wednesday. I got an email from Rob on that same Wednesday saying he had made the repair and was mailing it out the same day. I got my REO on that Friday. A one week turnaround! I was just blown away by the customer service and needed to share my story. I should also mention that this happened the week before Christmas and I fully expected a bit of delay due to the holidays. I emailed Rob with my thanks but wanted to publicly express them as well.

.... now to a question. I've been using AW 18350 batts with this charger: Battery Chargers : TrustFire TR-003P4


it doesn't seem to charge the batteries very well. I get about a 50/50 chance on the charger actually charging them. Does anyone have a recomendation on either a better charger, different battery (non 18350) or any other advice? I've been eyeballing this charger but before I spent the $$$ I wanted some advice: Battery Chargers : Xtar WP6 II

I got that xtar wp6 II and its working well, although have used only 18650's so far.

The great customer service is no surprise.... And yes, that's a good charger. And those are the best batteries....I think you can use 16340s but they would be a little loose, and they aren't any higher mAh, so unless you just have some and want to use them up, there's no point.
