Any body play around w/ juice n use contact lenses

Holy moly, Was touching alot of juice yesterday and washed my hands really well today but when I put that contact lens in I screamed bloody murder - OMG that hurts - washed them again and still happened /

I the only knuckle head this has happened to?

Any remedies besides keep washing and drying really good ?

I wear contacts but I have never done that before.... I always wash my hands with warm soapy water before I start and when I'm done messing with my gear.
