Bought my multimeter at local Radio Shack. It's nothing special. It's a digital because I thought the digital would be easiest for me to work with. Glad I bought it. I am taking it this Saturday to our Vape Meet Up in Phoenix. Hope others at the Meet Up will be able to give me some tips and tricks so I am using the multimeter to its fullest potential.

For instance, I don't have a clue as to how you check an atomizer with the multimeter. Come Saturday evening, I'll bet I know how to do that! - LOL

Paula - I can help you! To check the voltage on your atomizer, set your voltmeter to 200 on the section with the ohm symbol. Turn your atomizer upside down and put the red problem in the hole, then put the black probe on the inside threading.

Have fun at the vape meet. :)

I have never used a buzz. Where do you get them? I haven't ever used anything but a KR808D-1. I see a lot of posts about the ego and now the buzz. If I wanted to venture out of my comfort zone with one of these, do you recommend one over the other?

Kr808D-1 batteries are good; that's what I used for months. Then I wanted batteries to last longer, so I bought an Elegant from CigEasy. It's like an 808 version of an ego. I still use it when we're out, but only use my Buzz at home. My husband still uses his Elegant at work (it lasts him all day). An Ego is good too, but if you want to use 808 cartos, you'll need to get a 510 to 808 adapter. You can buy a Buzz from NotCigs.com.
