Any cartomizer noob guide?

Hi,
I received my 808 cartomizers with 510 adapter almost 2 weeks ago from happyvaper.
I'm far (really far) from being impressed!
I don't know what i'm doing wrong, but I can't get these damn things to work right.
I get almost no flavour and vapor.
I filled them with the condom method (described in a video which was from V4L I think).
At first, I though it might have been my juice so I let it age for a week. Still no success. My juice is fine because it works well on my standard atty...

I tried to adjust the adapter like described in a video in another topic, but I just can't seem to get it right.

Is there any kind of noob userguide for carto that would tell me what the hell am I doing wrong?

I know they're working because I get a little bit of vapor, but the amount is ridiculous.

Please, help me!

I did this BASIC filling video using one of Jacks Cartomizers, and his cartos have been working just fine for me.

Could it be that you have too much juice in your cartomizer?

For me, if I overfill a carto, it will gurgle and not produce much vapor and almost no taste.

My solution is to cover the battery end with a paper towel and then to gently blow thru the carto. If a bunch of juice comes out onto the paper towel, it was too full. Be sure to wipe the end of the carto with a clean paper towel of q-tip before you put it back on your battery.

assuming you've tried more than one cartomizer to make sure you didn't get a faulty one, my bet is on the adapter....I say try 510 cartomizers on your 510 battery or try your KR808 cartomizer on an 808 batt.....

I think you might be having the same problem I was. Make sure you screw it onto the battery first all the way then screw the carto onto the adapter. It should not screw all the way on and the air holes on the carto should be exposed. If not remove the adapter and use a screw driver to turn the middle section on the carto side of the adapter counter clockwise to lengthen. If you screw it onto the carto first you will not get the air holes properly exposed.
