Any clearomizer better than CE3 now?

I have been given a 1.6 ml clearomizer (808 thread) from apollo which i am using with a v4l manual usb passthrough (808 thread) . I am so happy but i find that in a very short time the metal ring that the tips screws into and attaches the tip to the clear body of the tank falls off. I suspect that the heat is compromising the adhesive that they use. I have tried re gluing them with apoxy but with limited success. I need to know if you have had others that have had this experience and what do you recommend as a remedy.
This system was divine but in light of the failure rate it is getting way too expensive. I have an apollo tgo (fatty) battery and don't like it.
Please any suggestions...i can't go back to cartomizers.
Thanks in advance.

I too adore CE3s, but wish they held more - I sometimes feel awkward whipping out a syringe on the public bus, kwim? ;)

I've tried the Kanger T3; I've had issues with flooding (which apparently isn't uncommon when you get to 1.8mL left in the tank & again at, say, .4mL left), this hasn't really been a big deal. However, the flavor is MUCH more "muted" compared to the CE3 (imo, naturally). I used to use a CE4+ when they were first available, and I loved how convenient they were. They often tasted/felted "burnt" to me, because of the top coil. This is when I tried the CE3 & fell ( *thud* ) in love. I tried going back to the CE4s, just for travelling, and noticed the 'muted' flavor.

The T3, imo, has a similar 'muted' flavor compared to the CE3. And I can't even use the T3 for travelling, because temperature changes make it less productive/prone to flooding. *sigh*

So, I'm still looking for that perfect vape. *sigh* The CE3 could be it, if it held a bit more juice & was FAR more attractive. And I can't even put a drip shield over it to gussy it up, because it's just a smidgen too thick to fit inside any drip shields I've come across. :'( So far I've found one 'mid-length' cone that covers it up a bit (& also allows me to use my lanyard), but it has lots of space around it - the standard cones don't fit around it either.

The CE3s are easy to clean & so darn inexpensive, the flavor is ridiculous...someone's gonna have to really step up to plate to make a truly viable replacement, imo! I hope someone does, though!!
