Ok I have been analog free for 27 days and I now feel like my coffee tastes like crap. I have been drinking the same brand for years. Does that mean the brand that I thought taste like crap when I was smoking should taste good now? LOL Anyway I better find a brand that doesn't taste like crap to me. I was vaping coffee and was drinking a cup of coffee on my way home from work. That is how much I love coffee!!!!!

Tastebuds begin regenerating after around 21 days, so you're tasting it now. I remember my first experience like "OMG, what is this!?". It was a potato-beer soup from a local microbrew and it make it FANTASTIC.

As a bit of general advice, find out what it is that you like and dislike. Retry brands, don't assume that how you've tasted over the past several years will be meaningful. Your body literally has new machinery to process a sense now.

Odds are, you WERE drinking crap and didn't notice. Odds are, the other brands were crap too. :p

I pretty much find that any of the major brands for home use (Folgers, Maxwell House, Eight O'Clock, et cetera) all taste like coffee beans and ground up cardboard. Additionally, I can also taste the paper of a filter now, which caused me to switch to a mesh basket.

Those flavors have ALWAYS been there. You're just aware of it now.

Like ejuice flavors, I get bored with the same coffee all the time. I have to switch it up at least every other pound or it starts tasting muddy to me.

I drink a lot less coffee since vaping and don't enjoy it nearly as much as I did as a smoker. I can't drink it at all now if it gets the least bit burnt, which never bothered me before. I send coffee back at restaurants so much that I now wait until I get home and make it myself if I have a choice.

I used to love very spicy hot hot stuff but can no longer eat it. It's just way too much for me now.

Sure glad that didn't happen to me.. ;-) I like spicy foods even more now. I can now taste bad stale spice from good fresh ground spice. Same with coffee. I love good imported fresh ground coffee but now hate the taste canned super market coffees that are already stale when you buy them...

I'm a coffee fiend right up there with the nic. I drink strong Italian roast
and have been vaping through some tobacco flavored juices and it's actually
more enjoyable. I recommend USA Reds from the Vapor Room.

It also pairs fantastically with my 3 glasses of bourbon every Saturday night.
Maker's Mark BTW.:2cool:
