Ok....been vaping for about 3 months now (still smoke analogs some)...when I started the flavors tasted great...I then started to DIY and was going good till about 2 weeks ago...everything tastes like crap...even stuff bought and not DIYed....I've tried everything that was mentioned (water, liquids, coffee)...actually coffee helps me taste a little and helps on the TH but I can't drink coffee all day, lol...I love vaping, but I'm about to hang it up if I'll never be able to taste anything...any more suggestions? I have a Kanger subox Mini mod and using the RBA with a single twisted 28 guage kanthal coil.

Vape tongue is a b*tch. I've had it last as long as three weeks. Get or make either some menthol or mint type juice to vape for awhile until it goes away, or vape unflavoured just to get your fix until your normal taste returns. Some people have said that sour candies work for them as well. Go to the store and get some Biotene to rinse with as well. That's really the only remedy that works for me consistently.

Vaper's tongue has almost nil to do with the tongue, it's mostly olfactory (smell) fatigue. The nerves in your sinuses can only take so much stimulation until they become desensitized to familiar smells. This is why when you go on a long trip and return home, only then can you smell what your house actually smells like, like home.

I recommend a sinus rinse or 'Neti pot' as they work wonders. Your local chain pharmacy should have this product in stock.

Very easy and gentle to use, even more gentle than pure saline because it's pH buffered. Give it a shot.

I use something similar (NetiPot) and it always does the trick in one shot. Convincing someone to pour fluid up their nose when our whole lives we've been trained to avoid that is the hard part. :p
