Hi there. I wanted to ask whats the main difference between low voltage + lr atty/carto vs high voltage+ high voltage atty/carto?

Correct me if im wrong but technically i should get same result/vaping experience with lr carto on lets say 4.2 and hv 3ohm on 6v right? Does vaping on HV attys/cartos give you better battery life?

Using an ohm's law calculator, you can figure out what watts you're vaping at with any battery and atty/carto combination. Once you figure the wattage where you like your vape, you can pursue that with 3.7 volt batteries and LR attys/cartos, or stacked batteries for 6.0 volts and standard resistance/high resistance attys/cartos. They won't vape exactly the same, but they'll be close.

I'd urge you to find your happy place with a single battery rather than stacking batteries. Single batteries are safer. If you're stacking batteries in mod, choose a mod like the Buzz Pro or Infinity Pro that have protections built into the electronics to help protect you against thermal runaway and whatever other bad endings may come from stacked batteries that fail for whatever reason.

The upcoming VV Reos will have these same electronics and protections and I won't mind stacking batteries in those, once I can get 'em.

Achieving the same watts with a higher Ω gives you better battery life.
Plus however the coil is made higher Ω (longer or thicker wire) gives you more surface area so = more vapor :)

yeah what Tim said:) I personally like HV better I tried to get same results with 3.7v but just kept coming up lacking something then In stepped up to 5 & 6v and now my Reos Hit like a Mack truck and I don't have to draw on them very long!

Vaping with a HR atty/carto at 6V does not improve your battery life. What it will give you is a hotter vape and also, it will shorten the time in which you inhale to gain the extra vaper. Also, you will be vaping at a higher wattage which is the reason why it's a warmer vape compared to a LR at 4.2V.

You are correct you can't compare battery life when your talking two different batteries.

Vaping with a "HR" atty at 6v will improve your battery life over vaping with a lower Ω atty on the same batteries. The higher the resistance the less amps drawn.

And I realize the OP stated 3Ω cartos in his post so you are correct there as well
but .....
You have to be careful throwing the generic HR around.
I"ve seen everything from 3.0 to 5.5 ohms listed as HR so I guess it depends on which one you choose.

4.2v with 1.5Ω = 11.76 watts
6.5v with 4.0Ω = 10.5 watts

So anything over 3.6Ω is giving you less watts than a 1.5Ω @ 4.2
