Hi All,

I've been ordering e-liquid from Virgin Vapor for over a year. I always get a message from Canada post saying that my parcel will be reviewed by Canada Customs. However, for the first time I got: ""Item has arrived in Canada and was sent for further processing"

Has anyone ever got this message before, but ended up receiving their package?

Thanks!

Hi lewn5.....I get my juice from Virgin Vapor too. My last two orders have been sent for "further Processing". One was opened by Customs and then sealed back up and sent along. The last one ...same thing only they didn't open it. It's taking a lot longer than it used to...."further processing" means it goes to Richmond and then back to Vancouver. I don't know what changed...it used to only take about six days to Ontario. The last one was three weeks!
Hang in there. It should be OK. :)

Did you guys end up getting your ordereds?

I ordered from US April 17th, it left US depart facility April 22nd - Been sitting with (i'm assuming customs) since then. (10 days).

No letter or anything in the mail either. Ordered hardware + juice. First timer here. Getting worried.

Plan to buy juice in Canada in the future. Just hoping my hardware makes it here at least....although it still upsets me I may loose money on the juice I ordered if t he vendor doesn't accept returns.

I live almost right on the american border and get a lot of vape gadgets shipped to the border and then go over to pick them up. From talking to customs officials its not the hardware thats the customs problem, its the juices with nicotine in them that the grey area that causes your packages to stall. Since e-juice isn't considered a tobacco product and its ususally up to that perticular customs official and how the package is labeled.
I don't order american juices just for the fact that I order oodles of ebay and amazon items and getting flagged with an american juice might hinder all my other products comming over the border.
I have ordered a couple of fasttech juices along with several other things and more curious to if they will get through canadian customs without hassles. I suppose to expect delivery @July 15.
The thing that really sucks is that a Canada Post parcel from Ontario to BC takes 10 days but a parcel from Texas to Idaho takes only 3 days and that same parcel goes past my house twice before its delivered to me. Kitchener --->Richmond --->Cranbrook then finally Creston. I guess lack of efficiency is why we have to pay 10 bucks to ship a parcel.

Just thought I'd add some more anecdotal experience to this, for those ordering from the States.

I've ordered four juice packages from the States. The first two -- a Mt. Baker Vapor order and a Heather's Heavenly Vapes order -- arrived in Canada the same day. Both showed "sent for further processing" for a few days (it was over a weekend), then the Mt. Baker Vapor package was promptly released, showed as "in transit" and was delivered a few days later.

The HHV package, however, was held for eight days. Just today, it was updated as "released by customs for processing by Canada Post." So that sounds like it was let through, we'll see. The third package, from Alice in Vapeland, arrived in Vancouver and within 12 hours was put in transit and is expected to arrive within a couple of days via Xpresspost.

Now I'm just hoping my 100 mL of Boba's Bounty makes it through, heh.

Not sure about the US, but nicotine is classified as a drug according to the Food and Drug Regulations (which you can look up and read during your spare time :p) The interesting/controversial/loophole-ish thing is that according to said regulations, which require certain drugs to be controlled (i.e. are either illegal as in street narcotics or require a prescription) is that in Schedule F, there are specific exemptions from this requirement for nicotine. Gums and patches, plus "in a form for oral inhalation no greater than 4 mg per dose". Obviously that was written with the nicotrol inhalers in mind, but vaping falls perfectly into that category. Which is why if I ever do order juice from the States (I hear Juicy Vapor is worth checking out), and they confiscate my pkg, I might just get into a fight with CBSA/HC. (Hopefully they don't change the law to specifically exclude e-juice...which is why it may be worthwhile to stock up....)

I'm waiting for BB as well, it's been 10 total days since shipped, I usually would have had this order from AVE by now but for some reason this one is taking longer? I've had no correspondence from anywhere so I'm assuming it's still in transit.

Question though, how do I go about tracking all I have is the order number 6 digits from AVE? Thanx.

You might have to go back into the site and try to locate a tracking number or email them. You also should have recieved a email with the tracking info either from usps, click and ship or the vendor. I don't see them sending juice without somesorta tracking to protect themselves.
You also live in a major center so 10 days is a bit long to wait cause 2 of those days is all it took to get to customs from the american vendor.

I win this one, ordered on July 2 from Halo(No juice, just hardware)was sent for further processing July 4, just released today. That one was shipped Express Mail International. I was tired of waiting so reordered on July 29, it hit customs today at 11:45, released today at 12:39, this one was Priority Mail International. I thought Express would be faster because it is a few dollars more expensive, but maybe they look closer at Express? Will find out when it gets delivered if the first one was opened.
