I broke the fingernail habit way back when I started on analogs, so switching to vaping didn't make a huge difference there..but where it has made a difference, I'm no longer chewing gum or snacking on food all the time. If you ask me it just boils down to an oral fixation of some type or another, whether it's nail-biting, snacking, smoking/vaping, teeth grinding (haven't done that since I picked up vaping!), etc.

I'm not a nail biter.. in fact I'm obsessed with DIY manicures and keeping my nails painted. However, I have noticed that since I quit analogs my nails have gotten looooong. Usually they'd get to a point where at least one would tear just and I'd have to file them all way down and start over. Apparently, smoking causes brittle nails.

They're actually too long (like, tacky long) and I've started to have trouble typing, but at the same time I don't want to cut them just so I can see how far they'll go. The little difference are amazing.
