So I'm on a kr808 battery with cartos. I'm already to the point of buying juice and cleaning out (or just dripping fill if the same flavor)

PS - It's a vapor 4 life kit and I'm very pleased.

However being a curious, technically oriented person I'm wondering....

What can I do utilizing my kr808 batteries that would be fun, different, or better?

I.E direct dripping?, three piece set ups, tanks, etc.etc... I've ready enough to know whats out there but not enough to know what I can do with the equipment I have.

deffinetaly a 901 atty.. once you burn up a carto you can pull the filling out and use it as an atty to just drip directly on the white tube and be carefull not to let it leak into the battery if your using auto bats. ummm.. the vortex clearomizers from gotvapes once they come back in stock are kr8 threading. could try out a passthrough if you havent already..

How do you get the filling out without busting the wire?
The clearomizers sound good, I've read alot about them.
I'd just like to experience the taste without filling to see for myself if theres a difference.

well if its a horizontal coil there wont be a wire so you just use tweezers to pull it out no problem.. if its a vertical coil your guess is as good as mine i cant figure it out. the regular kr8 cartos from litecig are horizontal coils i think..
there's deffinetaly a difference between filler and no filler, personally i like most juices with filler especially on a dual coil carto but i think im the minority on that one

All my V4l Cartos are Vertical coil and I destroy them trying to get the filling out.

So if I get a 901 Atomizer, do I need separate carts to make it work (other than experimenting with dripping directly onto the atomizer?

I was reading there could be compatibility issues with the 901 att and the 808 battery if my 808 is a certain model? (like regular vs. d1 or something)??

I have a vapor for life recent purchase 808.

I'm pretty sure you have that backwards. The 901 will always work on the 808 but, the 808 stuff may or may not work on the 901. Now if you have a KR808D2, it won't work. KR808D2s are pretty much the realm of ripoff rebranders. Vapor4Life doesn't sell them.

If you have auto batteries, be careful dripping. Getting juice into that battery can cause the switch to stick.

I got my 808 from V4L in March.
Bought some of these a few weeks ago:
DSE-901 Atomizers 510, atomizer, e-cig, electronic cigarette [DSE-901 Atomizer] - $4.99 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid
They fit fine.
Only problem with dripping is that the thread end of the battery can get pretty gunked up. I had to clean all my batts with vinegar and baking soda.
Dripping isn't as fun as I thought it would be.

I'm starting to think the clearomizer may be the best way to get a filler free vape from an 808!!!

You can drip in the 901 of course...it uses the same size drip tip as the 510 and 808 stuff.

You can use native 901 carts...these don't hold but a few drops. To me these carts are so small in capacity...might as well just drip ;) Unmodded, to me these hit kind of dry, but the whistle tip shape of them is really nice. Most 901 atties come with one of the carts minus the filler material....so it's possible to pack your own filler in that...or leave it empty and pull it off when you need to drip.

Lucid carts will work in a 901 and do OK. Only real advantage here is they'll hold over 1ml of liquid.

Smart Carts, and other 510 carts 'might' work in the 901 atty too. I haven't tried these yet, but have ordered some to check out.

I really like a CE2 on a KR-808D-1 battery...but I usually go for the 510 threaded ones and use an adaptor. Why? It's easier to come by a larger variety of resistance options in the 510 line. I like the 2.4-2.6 Ohm metal (not clear) ones.

If you use any liquids with a high PH level (Cinnamon, and some of the apple and citrus stuff) definately get the metal kind...these liquids will make the clear plastic of clearos cloudy and brittle...leading to cracks and leaks.

Clear ones are real easy to take apart and clean out...but the sleeves can/will/do crack before long. So if you need a tough carto that's never gonna leak on you...go for the metal ones.

I love the clears for knocking about the house or keeping in my car....anything I wanna pocket or purse...I use the metals.

For purposes of using my PV as it was intended, I like these cartos from V4L because they are metal (cleaning them is a snap...I'm also doing kind of a backwards Taryn spin to dry them, which works great by the way)........I guess I'm learning that the only thing i DONT like is the vertical atomizer in them.

Ah, I should make myself clear.
The CE2 engine (top coil with two wicks suspended in a tank of liquid) comes in clear and metal sleeved packages both. At least they do with 510 threads (just grab an adapter).

Also keep an eye out for the Vortex. I got my hands on some and enjoyed them much. They still have some bugs to work out on them before more will be stocked, but show much promise.

A CE3 bottom coil, kind of like the Vortex is rumored to be in development as well.

i just got an email back from gotvapes and they said the vortex wont be out for "a number of weeks" because they're making revisions on them so its gonna be awhile before anyone can get some:( lucky for me i found out about them after they were sold out....

Nhaler has quite a variety of KR808 cartos, as does Inkenvape. I've also heard the Bloogs are really good.

If you want some warmer stuff, 510 stuff is always an option as well (Usually around 2.5 Ohms for the regulars, and 2 Ohms for the LR). The Boges are really popular.

It's possible to simulate HV vaping pretty well with a KR808 battery combined with 510 gear.
