Also keep an eye out for the Vortex. I got my hands on some and enjoyed them much. They still have some bugs to work out on them before more will be stocked, but show much promise.

A CE3 bottom coil, kind of like the Vortex is rumored to be in development as well.

Hey Credo I have some XL Clear duel coils and the outer tube on these are really strong and guess what, they fit on the Vortex grate like they where made for them. Soon as I kill one on the duel I am going to cut it down and try it on the vortex.

We seem to like the same things so was wondering what you thought of the smart carts?

Still haven't decided really, as I haven't put any time into getting just the right amount/type of filler. So far I do like the smart carts better than regular or Lucids when it comes to popping one on right out of the box with no tweaking or modding.

For me, with 510 and 901 atties all the carts have somewhat thin vapor and a harsher TH (not really 'burn-like' but more harish), and you don't get too many hits back to back without having to let the PV rest and soak up some more juice.

I'm sure if I spent some time tinkering to get just the right amount and type of filler in there it'd be quite nice. I don't have any blue foam or PTB at the moment to experiment with. Later I will try just trimming off a bit of the stuff that comes in it for a more fluffy cart and see how that goes.

Now on the 801 atomizers with carts (would definately need adaptors with 808 batteries)...I've had very good luck. I really like the 801 for those after dinner flavors that I don't really use often enough for a cartomizer, and just want occasionally for an hour or so when not in the mood to drip. Right out of the box...soak a native 801 cart with around 30 drops..prime up the bridge with another 5 to 8 drops and pop it in...it rivals alot of the cartomizers out there in that it holds a decent amount and I can hit it back to back pretty fast for many puffs. The 801 is a bit cooler type of vape, yet nice and tasty, since it is so deep (even when dripping). In fact...even with all the dualies and tanks and stuff I have...I'm finding an HV 801 on my Darwin to be one of my favorite setups here lately (been into light fluffy citrus and delicate choclate/mint flavors the past week or so).

I'm guessing a Mega 510 might be similar to an 801 but with a looser draw in terms of how the cart performs...never tried a Mega 510 atty tho'.

Well I just loaded a Vortex up again and I am liking these more and more, i think the taste is so clean and even better than dripping while lasting a long time, and I can get those up to 6v at 3.2 ohm on the Darwin. I sure do hope they fix these up real nice. Also saw on Ikenvape they have a new Cannon carto that looks like its a 801 with a 510 fitting and that might be nice also. Nhaler is sending me some Vortex parts he had and I am going to see what i can do with those.

I have tried the vortexes and have loved them i vape 100% vg juice thick juice and they didn't wick well for me but with help from the forum threads these are the ultimate vape. Fixes remove alf fluff wick burn wicks with jet lighter that have glue on them at 1200 degrees a second or two this will burn off the glue on wicks also will clean gunk off coils after performance drops off Leaks teflon plumbers tape wraped two or three times around the base just below the wicks and put back together good vapor and flavor.
