Thanks everyone. This is really helpful. That key ring looks ridiculous - I have to have one! I already have some ce2 xl 808 cartos. Will the key ring accept an adapter?

It's 510 thread the most popular thread on ecigs so you shouldn't have an issue finding an adapter...

1) PRIMARY ISSUE - are there any good auto switch batts? I'm not satisfied with the manual battery. Call me lazy, but I really like to just sit and suck while doing other things,

Nope, there are not any good auto switch batts. You will just have to figure out how to push a button while you sit and suck.

I've only had a problem with 1 auto bat and it was because of the charger, not juice. And ANY bat would have been destroyed by the bad charger. My oldest bat has been in use for 7 months, and recharged close to 300 times. It still works, it is starting to lose it's ability to hold a charge now though...but that can be expected.

Stop it, Keysbum! There are good auto switches. The echo has one and I love it and I am an experienced vapor. I say this because you mean well and I know you won't use that pipe bomb on me. I am the proud owner of kr8s, the echo, an ego and now a kgo. So.......THERE!

And you do know who I'm coming to for my next toy!

You're taking all the anticipated baby steps. With your vaping maturation progress so far, I figure you'll have a big boy PV within 60 days. tic tic tic

I'm sitting here looking at my shelf with the Rivas, E-power, Egos, Indulgence, Box Mods, etc. which don't include several in the drawer while I'm enjoying my Volt Kr808D-1 auto. So I guess as far as I'm concerened there are good autos.

You should throw in an automatic echo to that collection and you'll have it all! It's like vaping a fine cigar

Unfortunatley I was led away from a "cig like" pv when I joined by well meaning members. They may have been correct at that time but the technology has advanced remarkably. They're not for everybody I guess but when a newcomer states cig like as part of their need I don't think they should be led away. I discovered the 808 forum by accident and gave it a try about 5 months ago. I still use my old stuff but my 808 goes with me all day. Been thinking about that Echo auto and I'm sure there's one in my future. Another nice one, a little bigger but still slim, is the Elite 808 but they're only manual.

This is the only stipulation the OP made:
1) PRIMARY ISSUE - are there any good auto switch batts? I'm not satisfied with the manual battery. Call me lazy, but I really like to just sit and suck while doing other things, mainly grilling and gaming.

that and for more flavor and vapor

Not for ciggy style. I use my echo(big battery) and kr8s(slim style) for the exact reasons he stated above. Both are great automatic batteries

This is a good point. I think there are a number of good auto bats now and I have a few of them. It's not like the olden days when they broke if you looked at them funny. Mine NEVER accidentally activate and like I have posted before' the switches haven't gone bad etc...

You are absolutley correct sir. And since he smoked cigarillos the Echo size would probably be more realistic.

Like you I was lead away from cig style pv in my beginning research for a beginners kit, so I bought an Ego. I really wanted that cig smallness. Than I went with a Echo E. I started vapin Feb 2011, I still wasn't satisfied. I finally ordered an received a few days ago a kr808. I think I will be happy with it, should have done it in the beginning. I was lookin hard at the Echo also since I like 808.

my daily PVs are vv mods but I have a couple auto bats for gaming and I think they work well and like them they definitely have a place in my vaping arsenal, I have a volt auto and a sd keyring so I don't agree that there are no good auto batteries hours and hours of cod mw3 proves that statement false
