Any idea what type of atty is in the ego mega carto?

I have some ego mega xl cartos, and while i really like the atty itself i really dislike the carto. I like the draw, throat hit and the cooler vapor of the atty a lot, so much that i keep returning to the annoying needle fill carto.

I would just like to know what kind of atty this thing has so that maybe i can find a normal carto with the same atty.

So my questions are:
What brand is the atty, and what ohm rating are they?

Hi there! I thought these were made by joye but i could be mistaken. I just got 2.6 ohms with my volt meter on one. I always liked these but they were such a pain to fill. Hope this helps!

Thank you it does help! Now maybe i should be ordering some 2.5 joye cartos instead of 2ohm...

Any idea if these are LR or standard resistance?

Those are regular not LR. It's easier to refill them if you leave the 2-hole plug out and that way you can refill through the mouthpiece hole without taking it out. So just the first time take the two plugs out and puncture the air hole. Leaving the 2-hole plug out doesn't make it leak and I haven't noticed any difference at all. I use either a luer-lock bottle or 18g needle on a syringe and go right down through the mouthpiece air hole to refill. It lines up perfectly with the air hole inside and makes for much easier filling. I've found these get better with use. I have some that are over a year old, never been cleaned and taste really good. LOL That's not with constant use though.
