Any love for the 901?

Ok i tried the rn40475 or whatever the cheap 901 atties on LF - omg i cannot get them to work at all. They have a diff cart shape and the bridge is lower, tried drippin it either floods or doesnt wick and no vape.

It's officially DSE901LR atties all the way!

fresh RN4075's are a little tricky to get going. if it gurgles, blow the crap out of it both ways until the gurgle is gone. Give it about 4 drops > hit it > if there's not a lot of vapor > 2 more drops and hit it again. They like to stay moist, but once you get it juiced, just 2 drops as needed. Sometimes you may even think you killed it, but all it needs is juice. Thirsty sucker for the initial juicing!

I like ikenvapes LR 901, but i hate the washer ring in them. Makes it impossible for me to blow them out right.

if anyone makes a bridgeless/wickless 901, i'd be sold. I agree the 901/RN's have the best flavor. I think the RN's are more bullet proof though.

I use KR808D batteries on 901's. I would never buy another DSE battery period. Wasted too much $$ on them in the past 2 years.

Ikenvape's LR 801 is great too. Flavor like a 901.

I am using a 901 cartomizer on my Buzz right now. It is going on a week of use, I keep it topped off and I do alternate mods a bit, but I am very happy with the 901.

too true, it took me ages to figure out why no vape was coming out when i first tried them with my cart, then i looked down while holding the button and saw it glowing, realised juice wasnt reaching it!

I'm going to give them another go, well they're just sitting there, i'll follow the 4 drips 2 drips advice and try to get them right.

Side note, the lr901's i find have a perfect vape temp, its just before they run dry, i love getting it right on that balance and a drip here and there just enough to moisten it without getting it wet, i love my drip tip now i've figured this out!

Ok, I have to give a 901 a shot. I've only ever used 510's and 306's (and a couple KR808 cartos). Now that I have my provari I am wanting to explore my options. Is it the 901 that has the same threading as the KR8081-D? I already have a 510 to 808 adapter, would be nice if I can use that with the 901.

If you are looking for something new and cheap to try, get the Joyetech cartomizers for your 510. I would like to hear from you on how the 510 cartos compare with your KR808.

Dave, why do you feel this way about the 901. I always hated the 510 till I got a VV Ali'i bottom feeder and still would use the 901 if my buzz didnt get beat to death. I cant vape any device at 3.7 I rather smoke ....

Durability vapor and flavor are not touched by a 510 when put up to a 901. TH is another issue but a few volts takes care of that 4.7- 4.9 on the 901 and I am a happy vapor... (sadly takes a toot off his ali'i )

The threads 901 / KR808 D-1 are virtually the same... As for adapters to them there is some variety which basically differ in air-intakes...

'Reliability' could definitely depend on subjective impressions, but dripping-wise, for the most part, I would say 901 is far more reliable than a 510, for this last one is more 'moody' and clogging likely...

i love my 901s just popped my last one so I'm stuck with nothing but 510s and Lr 801s but i can handle that for a month until i can even out another order lol......
