I'm looking for a new mini for out & about use once Intellicig run out of their soon to be discontinued black & silver variants of their M401s & the eRoll is so far the main contender as they have a number of UK distributors & the reviews so far seem quite good.

One main cocern is that I'm a mobile DJ & in my early days with 401s I ended up having to use manual batteries as the atuos had a habit of activating in loud noise environments. I'm not a great lover of manuals to say the least, but this issue was solved & I've been very happy with my 401s for all day (quite heavy) use, especially as nobody confuses black or silver bodies on an e-cig with a tobacco cigarette (a key point for wanting an eRoll is they are available in black).

I'm getting an e-pipe for home use, but I'm looking for something for when I'm driving, working & down the pub. All three of these situations usually involve loud noise / music & I was wondering if any of you have had any issues with noise activation on your eRolls?

I've never noticed any problems like this. Loudest mine has been exposed to is Reggae and Dnb at full volume on my standard car stereo.

Its definitely light enough to clamp between your teeth, just about OK behind your ear, but a bit to heavy to hold between your lips.

If I'm having a 'heavy' day the PCC will show a red light last thing at night, after I've emptied 7 or so carts so if your really full on a spare PCC might be an idea. I carry spare carts in a small bacy tin lined with packing foam

I've always carried spares & a PCC with the 401s, so no great problems there. I've also usually got a solar charger or Kingston battery pack on me & my disco kit has loads of spare USB sockets (as does my van), so charging the PCC on the go shouldn't be a problem.

Just had a thought, my 401 PCC can charge the battery while the PCC itself is charging. Is this the same with the eRoll PCC?
