Any other full-time vapers gain weight after quitting cigs?

15 pounds, here.. :D

Though to be fair, for the 1st 3 months I was vaping with blu's, only.. and getting nowhere near the amount of nicotine I was getting with analogs

It was during that time I gained the weight.. leveled off since

Also ate way too much (darn tastebuds) & wasn't getting much exercise

Gotta make it a priority to take some of it back off...

Yeah, I've definitely put on some weight since I started. I've always been a big fan of Chinese food buffets, and everything tastes SOOOOO much better now, I just can't help myself! About a month after starting to vape I ate so much at a buffet that I hurt myself. It literally hurt to laugh and take deep breaths for almost an hour. Lesson learned.
At least now I can exercise to take it off and not cough up a lung. :)

Hate me if you must, but I actually lost weight after about 2 months on vaping. It turns out my sweet tooth needs were mostly fulfilled by sweet vapes. I cut down on a boatload of sugar and baked goods with tasty juices like key lime pie and pear marzipan torte. I even take my tea unsweetened now as I'm always vaping when having some. It was unexpected, but welcome.

I gained about 20 lbs, and have only recently lost most of it.

My partner was in the hospital 10 weeks - 3 weeks in a coma. Stress is NOT the way to lose weight. BUT during that time I DID NOT SMOKE and DID NOT HAVE CRAVINGS! Plus, I never felt 'the need' to go somewhere and vape. I wanted to vape, but I didn't need to do it.

BTW - partner is home now, and doing better. So am I. :)

same thing is happening to me in regards to not wanting sweets. but other than the very occasional slice of pizza, i eat very well. so, i haven't gained any weight.

Glad to here things are better. Many good thoughts (some call 'em 'prayers') for you both.

I have been wondering if I did; Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday cookies and all the other 'goodies' did get consumed. I put on a pair of pants that fit before I stopped............ and they 'shrunk'. I'm guessing I have gained and in March when I weigh again I'll know. I am taking care to eat and drink less. 'Shrinking pants' strongly suggests I am again ............. "portly"! When I was younger they called it "FAT"!

I actually lost weight and continue to stay at a healthy weight. I attribute this to my love of desserts! For me, I find that when my sweet tooth starts acting up--I grab my favorite dessert juice and vape away! I also drink a lot of water to ward off vapor's tongue. I often find that I actually eat LESS than I did when I was smoking analogs! At least...this is MY experience.

I was soooo looking forward to quitting without the weight gain.

Previously when I tried to quit, I ended up eating as a smoking replacement, so I understood the gain.

With vaping, my eating habits have not changed, but I still gained 20 lbs.

Granted I have poor eating habits, but I'm not eating any more of the crap than I was before.

I've lost about half a stone (give or take) since quitting the stinkies - I vape a ton and find it suppresses my hunger just as adequately as ciggies did.

I don't eat when stressed either, but not feeling particularly stressed. In fact, since quitting the analogues I feel less stressed most of the time. Maybe it's because I know I'll not freak out when the important meetings go over and I'm no longer trying to make excuses to leave "on time" (on-time means "ciggie break) Heh heh.
