I'm curious. Are there plans for V4L to introduce some sort of tank system for their batteries? As a friend told me about their new eGo-T and how it uses just liquid, without any need to soak into the batting stuff that's in the carto's.

As something i've wondered about often, is just how safe is it to inhale the burnt fibre's that you get when you dry out a carto and get that burnt chemical taste.

So i've been searching about for these liquid only tanks, and they look interesting. Has anyone tried one and what are the disadvantages/advantages of them?

Hoping someone can give me some good information on this sort of system, so i can learn more about it and make an informed decision.
Thank you

I've tried the 510 and ego tank systems, and also tried them on a v4l battery with an 808-510 adapter. While it's nice to be able to see the juice level, in my opinion the tank mutes the flavor of the juice too much. I'm glad I tried the tanks, but I still prefer a good carto.
If you keep a good carto wet on almost any PV, you'll have less chance of burning. At the first tiny hint of a change in flavor, vapor production, or taste just take the carto off the battery and do a quick top-off with juice.
Obviously I'm not privy to V4L's product plans for the future, but just thought I'd toss in my 2 cents on the tank ...

I appreciate your reply. Yeah, i keep my carto's wet, and have gotten quite good at knowing when to refill.
muted flavour isn't a big worry, as i only vape V4L's 100% VG juice anyway (hint, we need more 555 in stock soon :) I miss it), so i'm already used to a flavour reduction.

It's interesting that you find the carto's better than juice tanks. Which did you find lasts longer between refills?

Probably not any time soon at least the way you are thinking about it. We have tried several of the tanks and tank mods out there and we don't feel that they are ready to be a mass market product at this point. We do have plans for cool new stuff in the very near future, but it's still in the testing process as of now. Stay tuned.

First off I have been doing reviews for awhile now and would be glad to be a tester. Second to answer the question that was first asked in this thread. I have the ego-T system now. It is kinda hit and miss depending on flavors. The battery life is great. I have been doing a lot of reading on this forum about the V4L kits and am thinking about getting one this weekend. I would like to know what volts the battery's are. I couldn't find the information on your site. How long will a battery last for someone who is a medium to heavy vapor. I kinda like to get the ultimate shorty set I think Would this be a good kit. As for quality do you think this pv is as good or better than the ego-T I have no problem with cartos since I have a couple of Mods
