hello everyone. after much internal debate and conflict i finally threw in the gloves and bought a precise plus 18500. i'm pretty stoked at now making my dream of only owning mechanical pvs a reality. although, i don't see much talk on the forums as to thoughts or experiences with this pv.
anyone have anything to say about this device.
i know it's just a simple battery apv, but i'm still pretty excited and would like to read other's experiences with it.
thanks.
:)

Hello, and congratulations on what I believe to be was a very smart purchase. I own the house precise plus 18500 as well and I must say thats for some reason it seems to hit harder than any other mod I own. I can only attribute this is to the rhodium contacts which Super T utilizes in their Precise Plus line. And with the warranty they provide who can argue that this isn't one of these best mechanical devices on the market? The only reason that I can see for getting rid of mine would be in my quest to swap it out for a 18650, lol. I have recently come to the conclusion that my collection of mods will fall into 2 categories as far as batteries go... 14500 for portability and stealth or 18650 for hard hitting longevity. I don't need anything that falls in between those 2. But that's just my personal preference. Should you have any specific questions in regards to the device don't hesitate to ask, and if I can help I will be more than happy to.

Nate

You didn't go wrong with this, its a nice compromise between size and battery life
no one else can touch the buttery smoothness of the Super T button either

As far as quality of build it is tough to match a Precise. I have a P10 for stealth vaping on planes (I fly often and many intercontinental flights) and a P+18650. I run 18500's in the P+18 with a kick module. I love this MOD and besides working great it looks good too! Enjoy and may your new toy find its way to you quickly. I know the wait can suck :).

thanks for the replies and input, everyone. quite recently my regular hardware supplier started carrying imr 18500 batteries at 1500 mah capacity, which is equal to their mah capacity for the 18650s they carry. the 18500 are also $5/piece rather than $8/piece. so it's pretty convenient in that it'll be slightly more compact without really compromising battery life in my case.
has anyone seen any pictures of the precise + with the slanted cap? for the life of me i couldn't find pictures of it even though i bet it'd be really slick. i opted for the flat tip option myself though, in case it invites troubles or complicates the switch a bit.

Here is a post with pics of a p+500 with slant top cap. This whole thread is riddled with awesome pics: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=5530995

Congrats on your purchase, I can't say enough good things about the p+ line.

The Precise is fantastic! One word about batteries however - a lot of batteries/vendors overstate the actual MAH on the batteries, so I would be hesitant to say that a 18500 battery has a higher actual MAH than a high quality 18650 battery.

As far as the flat top - if you're a tank user, I personally find that the flat top looks better for most tanks.

It still seems a little fishy. There's a lot of games people play with mah ratings to make their batteries look more attractive. It's why there are some batteries that say they are 3100 mah but actually perform worse than 2600 mah rated batteries of the same size. That's one of the reasons I also purchase my batteries from super t, he tests his batteries out to find the best fit or his pv's and customers and will tell you straight out which is the best battery to use and why. He really knows his stuff.
