I have a 2.5 and a kayfun mini v3 and there is a ridiculous gap. I love the look except for the gap. Any cheap fix out there?? Thanks in advance!!

beauty ring

ProVari Tank Ring

never mind me ... the rings won't solve the gap on the K3M

I make up these little spacers in varying thicknesses :

full

Both of these. The beauty ring won't solve the gap issue but will make the bigger tank look better on the tapered top 2.5 and ENAUD's ring trick should fix the gap issue.

There is likely a better solution that involves filing the 510 pin/connector or something, but that is over my pay grade.

I haven't found a better solution, been using shims since I had more than a couple ProVari's. There is no consistency on how deep the pins are on the slant tops, if you file to fit an attie for one, it may not connect on another. Using the spacers, I'd rather have the space, and fill it with shims as needed device to device. Just a couple pennies for the jar.

I was just going to ask about the beauty ring
The beauty ring will take away some, or possible all of the gap. Again, there can be differences one to the other on those as well. Part of the nature of the beast when dealing with a fixed 510 pin. My personal opinion is that the durability and longevity of the fixed pin 510's by FAR outweight any small cosmetic advantage offered by the P3 connector and it's relying on an O-ring to hold the center pin in place. Just my opinion...

Oh, just thought of this, another workaround using the beauty ring is to place some very small spots of adhesive putty on the slant. I'm talking like match head size dots, then gently press the beauty ring down. At that point you can screw the attie down till the pin makes contact and voila!

The gap is the same with my kayfun 3.1, that is a igo-w plus dripper and the beauty ring dtill is loose enough to spin freely.

Good idea and adds a bit of security. I put those on all of the Provaris my wife stolded from me as she drops mods frequently.

My 3 year old also likes playing with them. I got a bunch at the last vape expo... cheap entertainment for my daughter but the DAMNED thanks are all over my house!

Been vaping almost three years and to date have ONE vape band...where did I go wrong:facepalm:
You obviously haven't been entering many cloud comps.:p

I only had 1 of these bands prior to my attending a recent vape expo. Now I have dozens.

Ya know how in business we logo everything cool, cheap and mass produced in China for marketing purposes? Squishy balls, mini tool kits, iPhone cleaning kits, pens, etc.? The vape band is their marketing chatzke.
