I'm thinking of getting a VTC.
The shop only has the 60W version.
As far as I can tell the 75W version is just a firmware upgraded 60W.
Anyone know if the firmware really is the main difference?

The firmware is user upgradable.
I don't want a lemon but cant see why not to get the 60W and upgrade it.

Or am I missing something?

It'll go to 75w with the firmware update. There's an updated version though, the VTwo Mini. As far as I can tell the only update is a clock on the screen though.

I have had my VTC for ever now :) it started as a 60 watt & is now 75, with just an update :)
The VTC is a very good little mod for the money!

If it's this one

Yeah thats the one. And yours is a better price too.

Thanks everyone I just needed some reassurance.
I've looked at so many mods that look good on paper, but there is some catch hidden away in the reviews that rules them out, or I cant even find a review.
I haven't seen anything like, "You CAN upgrade it to 75W, BUT ...", for this one.

What coils are available for this tank? I have seen people recommend the CLR series coils, but have only seen kanthal and titanium. Are SS coils available?

The TI CLR coils are real cheap and you can rebuild them with ss wire.
5pc joyetech ego one clr-ti vt atomizer head

The mod didn't originally support SS. You have to upgrade the firmware for SS support
