The only thing I kind of regret is starting with cheap mods. If I add up all of the money spent on them I could buy another high end device. The only part I don't regret about that is being able to choose a device depending on situation. I'm not going to take my provari out to the garage when I'm working on the car. On the other hand, I don't want to take a beat up clone when I hang out with with my vape buddies.

My biggest regret is that I had to sell my provari because I didn't like vaping it. It was too forceful for me. I did find a PV that I do like, the smok SID, it Vapes softer. But I really wanted to like the provari. It is a very well made device and should last a very long time. I'm always worried that my SID is going to break :(

Lessons learned or regrets? Hum ... as time goes on I expect more regrets to learn from :)

Oh, but there's just soooo many things to try! Some things work well and others not so much. Some stuff works longer than others. Some require more effort etc... Searching forums and reviews can sometimes help reduce regret.

Having fun and looking forward to my next regret :)

Started off with Blu. Apart from their extensive marketing, those things are absolutely horrid and I'm surprised anyone still buys them. Went back to smoking for 2 years. Worst worst worst waste of money ever.

Got the v2 ultimate kit. That was 100+ bucks and that's when my regrets start:
    1) got my entire kit + 80 bucks worth of cartos confiscated by the customs when I went to Singapore over the summer. (Bro tip to other ecf-ers: DO NOT bring your vape gears to Singapore. It is illegal there for god knows why, and not only do they confiscate it, you risk a $5000 fine)
    2) didn't know about anything else, didn't know about this god-given forum, and bought another v2 ultimate kit. At this point I could have gotten a provari kit or a futura with plenty of spare cash.

But do I regret buying a v2 set to begin with? Nah. I doubt I could have made the transition to completely stop the stinkies if I hadn't had something with a form factor similar to a real one. I just regret not learning enough fast enough to transition out of cig a likes to something better.

Transitioning to a ego-c twist and vision spinner was the best thing that happened to me. It introduced VV to me and I was sold on my 2nd puff. I don't quite understand why people would regret getting that. Of course hindsight is always 20/20, but these cheap vv egos made it easy for noobs to try out smth more advanced that dropping major dough on a provari

Also tried my first VW a lil while back, and I instantly knew that VW is all I'm ever gonna have from henceforth. I recoil all my tanks, and the slight variations in resistance are just a non-concern with a VW.

My biggest regret now? Not being able to save up fast enough for a provari or a futura.

    P.s. I love this forum

I could write down a huge list of things that I regret buying like many of us could and have done already, but the more I think about it, I needed to learn first hand what each device and topper and juice is like and how each performs.

The journey has been part of the fun......along with some anguish from time to time. I am just glad I am very satisfied with my gear and my ability to DIY any time I want.

I have some juices that I dont care for, I have some CE4 clearos that I will never use, but I give these things away and feel good about it.

I quit using BLU disposables, then a BLU kit, then the battery died and I got an EGO battery from a gas station for 9$ and realized I could screw on BLU filters. Then on to CE4s with gas station juice ( gross ) then onto ViVi Novas, bigger batteries, mods, RBA's, an MVP II, carto tanks, even tried dripping.

    Next stop DIY juice.

If I have a regret, its not finding e-cig forum a little sooner, and wasting a little money on crappy juice.

Started 3 months ago with the joyetech ego-t. Batteries are excellent
Then bought the evic -> was a piece of crap worked perfect for 3 weeks after that the treading was gone got a replacement head which did not work. So got my money back.
For that money bought a SVD -> works perfect.
Now also have a MVP v1 -> also works perfect. wish it was a v2 though.
Now I mostly use Kanger T2(s).
Also do not like the vivi nova 3.5 (do not like the draw and taste).
Also do not like the iclear 30 came with the MVP. (hit and miss with leaking).

I regret all the time wasted (and money) on cheap juice. I regret my fear of RBAs and on not buying a Provari yet.

I do not regret my first Blu purchase. It led me here the same day. I am eternally grateful for the fellow ECFers here that guided me to my 1300mah Spinner and Evod as my first device. I still use them. I also drip into cheap Joye 510 attys and love it. I do regret my fear of rebuilding and fear of trying a carto tank. Looks complicated to me.

I regret not being as successful as I would like convincing my family members who smoke to try vaping.

i regret making a $120 purhase on a fancy mod as my first vape purchase… which i ended up selling… kinda soured my faith in B&M’s and reinforced my online spending habit to the tune of $800 spent at ebay and online vendors instead of the local mom and pop’s.

I hear you there. As a new vaper, my first regret was buying my first atomizer and battery from a storefront vape shop before shopping around. As soon as I got home I discovered they charged me double (also $120.00) what I might have paid for the exact same setup online. And he even had the nerve to suggest including a tip on the credit card authorization!

My second, and really only other regret, is buying a 30 ml bottle of almost every Halo tobacco flavor (9 of the 12) before having anything to actually compare them with and deciding if I really liked all of them! Sure, I got the sample sizes of all of them first (except for the 3 menthol ones - not my thing), but now I have at least four or five - untouched, and opened only for 48 hours to breathe - that I wish had been the Southern Classic (my new favorite). At least I can console myself in the fact that I haven't had an analog for 33 days, which is the longest period for me in over ten years!
