I know its not the look that matters but i think the iclear30 looks dumb. Any of you have tanks that dont leak and spit juice into your mouth? Heres some i have that all leak. Dc tank, anyvape davide, x8, x6, kanger, ce4. Anyone?i feel like i will quit vaping if i dont find some good tank setups

Half of those are clearo tanks and I cant help you with those.

Sounds like youre not priming the carto tanks properly or youre using a very thin juice with too many holes. How hard you draw can also make a difference.

Be as specific as you can and we'll try to help you. There is a rather steep learning curve to this but once you figure out what works for you its all downhill from there.

my protank 2 was gurgling and leaking a little more than i liked...found a few solutions...unscrew the base and let it "burp" how ive heard it said, blow through the drip tip to clear out any juice accumulation, place a paper towel on the base blow through that, pull the drip tip and clean out accumulated juice, and always keep the tank no less than half full to keep leaks down, keep a q tip and alcohol handy to clean juice around your tank and battery too....just a few things ive seen around the internet and youtube, hope that helps

I'm with you. I tried a bunch, became extremely agitated, and switched to smoktech dual coil cartomizers for a couple weeks. Friday I was given a Protank 2 and have had ZERO gurgles, leaks, or burnt taste . I have been surprised because I had awful luck with the original Protank

I second this! I have had many tanks with many problems. I got a Protank 2 a couple of weeks ago and it is perfect! I have had zero problems with it. I didn't even want to try it because I generally like only carto tanks.
I have one more question: what juice are you using? I know that I have a banana e-liquid that makes ALL of my tanks leak(except the Protank 2). Just make sure your juice is not the culprit.
You will find the perfect tank for you...... don't give up!!
Good luck!!

never tasted juice with my eVic
The battery device or mod has absolutely NOTHING to do with the juice delivery device spitting juice into the mouth.

If these tanks you have are genuine name brand tanks and not knockoffs, they shouldn't leak. The leaking and spitting must be due to human error/poor technique.

I've used the most recent versions of the Vivi Nova, Innokin 16 & 30 iClears, and the Evod and Protank 1 & 2 within the last few months. NONE of them did what you describe.

When filling either cartotanks or clearomizers, do not allow any juice to get into the center air hole. With a carto, you can put a wood tooth pick in the air hole to keep juice out while adding juice. Cartotank Setup Guide

Your draw shouldn't be like what you used when you smoked. Use a long, gentle draw as if you are sucking on a straw in a thick milkshake. Pulling too hard or strongly will flood the juice device with too much e-liquid. The same techique goes for cartotanks, too. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/469794-whats-your-vaping-technique.html?highlight=draw+technique

My iClear-30 is holding up like a champ - hasn't leaked yet and I've swapped out the coils a half-dozen times since I got it. I think the important thing to remember about tanks like this is - be careful with the o-rings and don't over-tighten your joints. It doesn't look bad sitting on top of a Vision Spinner 1300.

Get yourself some carto tanks or a vivi nova. Ibtanked.com has some good ones that you can customize to your liking as far as color and size. I have never had an issue with cartos in a tank. I have 3 vivi nova minis and no leak or gurgle with those either. So dry hits now and again if I chain vape but over all I am impressed by them. Don't get the knockoff ones. Buy a vision vivi nova.

KangerTech ProTank II with 1.8Ω Evod heads, and it has never leaked or gurgled. Also, it doesn't look stupid :p

Best tank in my arsenal. I have a PT1, a bunch of Evods, an MT3S, a Kamry X10 and a SmokTech Aro. None leak.

I have the best luck with BCC such as Evod and t3s, i think as baditude says above it has to do with drawl technique,
I have a tendency to vape like i smoke... for me it's long strong inhale.
the bcc seem to be cooler so it doesnt seem to get as hot as the top coils.

so either try some bcc's, bdc's or practice drawing slower, long and slow inhales.

good luck.

With all the tanks/clearos that you listed its pretty hard to believe that they all leaked. I have to agree Its more likely your technique , a majority of us have many tanks most of us stick to the most reliable ones / ease of use for me that evod, mini Pt2 , mt3, there are instances when they can leak but the fix is usually pretty simple tighten down the coilhead clearout airway and reattach and don't overtighten the seals that could be ur issue if you have. As for kanger just get new base if thats the case there pretty cheap.

My wife and I both have the UDCT tank (aka The Artemas), and neither of us have had any problems with what you describe. I know you can find them here: Smok Tech UDCT locking tank and you can also find them here: Chrome Artemas Locking 510 DCT, Clear . I also have just gotten the Aro BCC Smok Tech Aro Tank, and it is by far the best bottom coil clearo I have tried personally, and that includes the protank.
You shouldn't have issues with any of these.
Hope that helps.
