Having escribe would be one major factor in having a higher premium--i agree. i am thinking that RX chip will force the DNAs down a little bit.I assume it's because it costs quite a bit more to manufacture the DNA200 board. plus, the dna 200 has escribe....

that would be nice! I mean come on, are the dna 200 chips even made in America anymore? if they still are I can see a premium, we actually pay our workers
Well, there's a lot of quite capable 100 to 200 watt TC mods in boxes that can already be had for under $75 that haven't pushed the DNA200 down yet. The RX200 won't change this.
From what I have read, the cost of just purchasing the DNA200 board from Evolv is $80.I assume it's because it costs quite a bit more to manufacture the DNA200 board. plus, the DNA 200 has escribe....
Buy in large quantity and you can probably get that down closer to $50-$60 per board, and as I mentioned earlier, the rest of the mod probably costs Wismec about $15, no more than $25 tops. And lets not forget that the tooling/production line costs for the Reuleaux enclosure are now being spread across two product lines and a lot more scale than just a DNA200 device alone, driving the costs to manufacture even lower.
If Wismec has more than $80 in a Reuleaux DNA200, I'd be very surprised.
That's an unreal price especially if it lives up to expectations. If you consider the industry, products available and their costs from this time last year, it is quite amazing.

Totally legit, and they also have a US warehouse. I've bought several things from the via China and the US. Like I said, these things don't cost Joyetech/Wismec much to make.
They are fine, I've ordered from them a few times with no problems. I haven't used their USA warehouse yet, but I'm sure it would be faster.

Thanks nelsonm64. Was hoping they got these out to some reviewers. Looks like it will probably be a decent mod.
These might end up selling like $45 hotcakes just as a DIY enclosure for DNA200s, might even fit an SX 350J wired in parallel.
Stupid question time. I have never used a mod with stacked batteries..... how safe is this?
