I'm seriously considering this mod, a couple questions:

- Does it have a spring-loaded pin? I will NOT do non-loaded.

- Is it OK to charge the batteries internally? It may be awhile before I can afford a new charger for multiple slots.

- Does it have protection features galore? Shorting? Battery failures? mod getting hot? Stuff like that?

Thank you!

Been playing with it for about a week, the springload 510 is a bit too stiff, internal charge works great, it got just a tad warm working at 100W.

I ordered one yesterday so I will get it on Monday or Tuesday. I had a istick 100 which craped out. I had a Kanger sub tank on it. Seems like a waste to use this horse to run the sub tank. I do have the TFV4 but have that on my Sigelei 150w tc, which rocks. So I could get another tank for the RX but then I won't have a battery for my sub tank lol

Mine arrived today updated to latest firmware and this is the best £30 I've spent in vaping so far, the build quality is very good mods costing a lot more have far worse quality and the feel in the hand is also very comfortable. As far as the chip is concerned in power mode it performs as good as anything else clean power and instant hit once button is pressed. In temp control I've had to raise my temp by 20° to 200c to get the same vape I get on the xcube 2 using 430 grade stainless and the likely reason for this is the TCR they are using on the ss setting is 304 grade. Three lg chocs put in been vaping for five hours battery bar hasn't moved but good battery life was a given going in. Updating the firmware is as easy as it gets download from wismec site, unrar and start the application select appropriate .bin file (there were two one for presia and one for rx200) click update your done.

All the features you need are easily accessible and work as they should, this mod is going to fly off the shelves I'll be buying 3 more and won't be bothering with the dna200 version.

I think this device is really a wonderful idea. Even if you're not using full power, the three batteries should make it where the life of the charge is tripled (for me, a 18650 lasts MAYBE a day), and yet then you also have so much wattage to work with for tanks like the TVF4 that need around 100watts or more.

It also looks to have all the safety features needed and spring pin and all sorts of good stuff.

The only downside is that once those 3 batteries get low, it's not like most folks are going to have three more married batteries to pop in. You're kind of in the dark for awhile, especially if you have a slow charger.

Right now, I'm on the fence between this mod paired with a TFV, or a simple Kanger TopBox. Leaning toward the TopBox just cuz it'll be so much cheaper in the end, but geez would I be buying a kit that really still isn't worth the price based on what else is out there.

A multi bay charger isn't a lot of money for a decent one look for xtar vc4 that's the one I'll be getting to replace my vp2 as for while their charging I'll just be using my xcube2 so those weren't worries. Even if you need to buy an external charger and another mod good things to have with the future in mind.

I always buy double the amount of batteries for a mod, so single 18650 mod have 1 in it and 1 charged for whilst out and about. Ditto the Reuleaux, 3 in it and 3 charged. that way you always have charged batteries at the ready and can recharge the used ones when you get home. Its not rocket science really.

I'm glad I'm not the only one doing that. At last count, I had 80 18650's. But I'm never without a charged married pair.

Interesting product, have had my first DNA200 product for two days now, the Reuleaux and love it.

I was able to get it for $142.00 roughly so I'm a happy camper. Sold two older MODs on Ebay and the winning bids were higher than what I originally paid for them so I came out well.
Its not a DNA200

Well Sir... you are WRONG! Apparently you haven't done the necessary research to see that the Reuleaux makes TWO different MODs. One with the DNA200 chipset, the other does not.

This thread is about the rx200, that's probably where the confusion lies.

since this is derailed to the DNA200 already: Anyone tried to fix their battery sled so it does not ruin the wrap? I guess this might be first mod to charge the cells in the mod instead of removing them for an external charger.
Mine ruined exactly 2 wraps. After that not one got ruined. I don't know if the sled broke in but I'm not tearing wraps anymore.

Could be dangerous as those raised positive "walls" are the only reverse battery protection the Reuleaux has.

On another note, I'm seriously considering selling my Reuleaux DNA 200. I just don't like it as much as my rx200. Gives. Me burnt hits and other problems repeatedly whereas my rx200 simply works. I like the color scheme though, and considering how long I waited to get a DNA 200 mod I don't want to give up. On the other hand, there's a lot of money invested in this device.
