I'd just like to add that this collar is an evil contraption from hell that was designed to torture me. I swear, I'm about to start chewing the thing off of me like a puppy with a cone around it's head!

LOL! Glad you are back (some) Val. Don't throw anything at born you may have to go back in. Also chewing of the collar can cause chipped teeth

I feel your pain! I wore a horse collar for a few months and found it quite irritating. Try not to 'fight' it. How long do you have to wear it?
2.5 more weeks until collar free!!!! 3ish weeks til I can stop calling my mom and friends to give me rides to go places because nobody will let me drive! (wtf is this, high school?)
Side issue: Apparently, my sub-conscious hates this thing too. I woke up this morning to find I'd taken it off in my sleep. I'm going to have to staple this thing in place

I know it sucks (the collar) but believe me ...you are better off with it for now ... I took mine off a week early ... and almost screwed up everything they did when I jerked my head around in response to one of my kids doing something crazy (don't remember what they did ....but I will never forget the pain)
three pieces of advice ... 1) take it easy 2) continue to let people drive you around... driving sucks when you cant turn your head to see blind spots ... been there done that ...almost died! 3) TAKE IT EASY ...
