Yes I Finally got my Vapor 1000 last week (I ordered it The 2nd day it was posted).

I got the Vapor 1000 (801 Style Pen) in Blue Color, with red/orange color LED, The Finish Looks Nice!

What I Can tell you about the Vapor 1000 From My 5 Days With it:

- The Box & Package Was Impressive & Nice, With a Nice Invoice, Some Nice Printed Info & Several Business Cards. Actually too much other printed emails to.

- Inside The Nice Box was More Business Card & a Nice Printed English Instruction Manual, Probable The Best Manual I have seen so far! Great for the Newbie

- General Appearance: Looks Like any other 801 Penstyle, All Parts, Bats, Atomizers, Chargers are Compatible with all My 801 Penstyle Kits (5) Different Ones I Have.
- Product Feel & Material: Looks & Feels Great, No Different Then any other 801
- The 4 hole Atomizer looking in from the top looks flatter on top and possibly slightly wider then my other 801 atomizers, The Drag is Just OK.

- Now Lets Smoke it up:
- Fires Right Up, The Drag is Just OK
- You Have To vape Slowww, Like She States in her Video
- It Would Smoke OK If you can get it to go longer then 3 Seconds without cutting out
- Throat Hit Not Much, I Tried it with about (6) Different Juices
- The Drag is Just OK Only, The Vapor Not Much Due to The Battery Cut Out...
- Issue: The Battery Cuts Off in about 2 to 3 Seconds which is Not Acceptable To Me
- Battery Use: I Got Several Hours Of Use From Them, Good In My Book
- Vape Just OK, Not A Lot of Smoke (due to short cut off time)
- Cart: Same as Other 810 Carts, Fit Is Good, Can Use other 801 Carts and No Leakage!
- If I Put The Vapor 1000 Atomizers On My Other Brand batteries or USB Bypass Unit It Smokes & Vapes Great. The Reason Is The Vapor 1000 Battery Cuts Out In Only A few Seconds!

- Both batteries Wanted To Go To Cleaning Cycle after Only Several Carts... (Disconnect It Quick!) and still wants to go into the damn cleaning cycle frequently (damn just remove the killer cleaning cycle, it only destroys the atomizer!0

I Feel its a very nice quality unit, due to the packaging, brochures & Instruction Manuals

I Also Feel This Unit Is For 1st Time Users & Not for Heavy Users That Want Big Smoke.

I would Definitively Recommend The Vapor 1000 Especially for the 1 year or lifetime 4 hole atomizer warranty. This is a Great Unit For Newbies with Probably a little Initial Higher Price, But I should state a lot Cheaper & Better Deal Then Purchasing From Any Kiosk! Also They Answer Their Emails & The Telephone Too!

My Personal Recommendations: I Think They Should Recall The Short Cut Off Batteries & Up The Cut Off Time to 5-7 seconds (I Need More Vape & Smoke!). The Rest of the Unit Is Great!

Important FYI: I am a Probably a Heavy Vape Guy, I am using this Right Now With 3 Other Penstyles While During This Quick Review.

I Thank Marion for a Great Job On This New E-Cig, Her Hard Work To Get This Nice Package All Together With A Nice English Manual, E-Cig Tips & Information, A Great E-Cig & Great Customer Service. Marion's Hard Work Has Paid Off!

I do Recommend the Vapor 1000 & Hope My Personal Experience Helps

I really like mine and it does take a slow draw. That is a little hard to get used too. I like it those. One of my batteries is not working right. One of them don't give much vapor. I charged it like the other. Going to E-mail them about this. Nice throat hit on one battery. Do not have the low cutoff that Cellmeiser talked about. I timed it at 7 seconds and no cut off. Now my other battery ,not so good. Good throat hit on my good battery. I feel more satified after using it. All my other e-cigs do not do this for me. I am getting around 5 hours on battery, but have not had it for three days yet. Will no more later about this. I don't use carts, only drip. All in all I like it. Will post later about it,when I have had it longer.

Cell,

Great review! Keep us updated.

Question about the atomizers. Care to comment on how they compare to the others? Do they run hotter? Notice more vapor? Seem pretty consistent? Easy draw....hard draw?

I am interested in them so anything else you can offer on their performance would be appreciated.

Hi Lu and Forum Members,

The Vapor 1000 (4) Hole Atomizer:

Question You Asked About My Vapor 1000 Atomizer "Hows it Working"? : Its OK, 4 Hole Design, Pull is Good. Comparable to most other (4) Hole 801 Atomizers. Except The Battery Cut's Out in 2 -3 Seconds! So I can Not Get A Hit.

The Problem I Have: The Vapor 1000 Battery Cuts Out in about 2-3 Seconds! I Can't Get a Good Hit Due to The "Cut Out"!, The "Reset Time" for the "Cut Out" is Usually 2-3 seconds which That Part is Good!

BUT, You cant Just Keep Pulling, you have to Stop to wait for the Reset On The Batteries (on the 2 batteries I have anyways). I Also Keep Getting a Frequent Several Flashes like it wants to go into the cleaning mod or its a safety for the atomizer???

I have tried pulling very very slowly like in the video / instructions, Same Thing, The Battery Cuts Out! Can't Get a Good Hit!

Info: My Batteries are on there 4th Charge as Instructed.

OK I Can Definitely Conclude There Is a Definite Battery Issue Here on My Vapor 1000 Batteries with The Fast Cut Out Time! This Is Not Acceptable.

I Put the Vapor 1000 Atomizer On Any Other Brand Of 801 Battery or USB Pass Through and It Works Great!

What I used: (2) Different Brand USB 801 Pass-throughs, (7) Different Brand 810 Batteries (Non-Vapor Brand): USB Pass-throughs Work Great! I Did Notice It Is a Little Harder Pull On Some Of The Other Non-Vapor Brand Batteries (on 2 of them), (2) Other Batts The Pull Is Fine, Another (2) Batteries Are Great. So The Brand/type of Battery may effect the "Pull" , There is Plenty of Smoke with Other Brands of Batteries & The Vapor 1000 Atomizer Works Great.

My Results: I Have "No Cut Out Effect" Before a Good Hit With All Other Brands Of 810 Batteries! Great!

OK I Guess Its Time To Check Out Marion's Customer Service Again, The Vapor 1000 Batteries I Have Don't Suck! LOL!!!!

I Will Contact Vapor When I have The Time about these batteries. I Will Update The Post With The results.

If anyone has any other reviews yet please post.

Well I received my vapor 1000 yesterday and so far I'm not too sure what to think. I can't really say too much about it yet since I think my charger is bad. I emailed cust service bout it this morning and am awaiting a response. So to those of you who have this device, regarding the charger, does the battery blink like any other pen battery bout 5 times, when ya screw in the batt to the charger? Cause mine does not blink when 1st attached, i found that odd. This happened w/ both batts that came along w/ the device. In the instructions w/ the cig it says to give an initial charge for both batts, but when I attached them to the charger it was green from the get go. So I used the batt that was attached to the ecig for a couple of puffs and it was alright for bout 5 puffs then was very hard to get a good hit so I figured I'd give it a good ol charge per the instructions, figured the batt was out of power. So I attached it to the charger and no red light at all, straight to green light and I know for a fact it wasn't charged so I don't know if I got a bad charger or what. Hopefully I'll receive an answer to my email shortly. Can anyone who has the device comment on the charger please: Does the batt flash when you 1st attach it? Also have you seen the red light, cause I haven't yet. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks...~Lane:confused:

Lane, I received a e-mail from The vaporcig stating that the charging instructions were wrong. They said, to use the battery completely when received, then charge for five hours at a time over the next three days. Then you can start charging it until you see the green light, which should be about two hours. So 5 - 5 - 5 - 2 hours.

My Vapor 1000 Quick Review Update Feb 25 2009:

There is a definite battery(s) issue's with my (2) Vapor 1000 Batts (801 style). This Unit Is Not Very Useable For Me Due To This Very Short Cut Out Time (2 -3 seconds, even when cold, after charged, any & everytime). You start inhaling then it just cuts off & flashes everytime. Its appears to be a circuit controller problem to me.

I like the Vapor 1000 in general (except smoking it, the cut out) and the finish is still nice & holding up. Glad I just don't own just one e-cig, I would go back to analogs! LOL!!

I emailed Vapor One via there contact form on their website last night (the account function is no longer on their website That I can find, I did set up the account and it was working originally, ie order, processing, etc, shipping / tracking never appeared & never receieved an email).

TIP: Whenever you make any on line order from anyone on line Always Print Your Screen & Save It!

I will update this post when I get a response back from Marion's company.

Lets see some more Vapor 1000 Reviews! Come On! I know Your Out There!

When you get your new batteries if you could send them back to me I would appreciate it.

=================

Ok Great Same Day Email Response Time, YEAH!!!

But Be Sure To Read The Details of That Response

I Thank VaporCig.com For their customer service response time & replacement no problem warranty. But nothing about how to send it back, maybe a prepaid envelope? A Gift? I don't Know, but I Know I am Not Going To Pay For The Return Shipping On A Defective Product 4 Days Old.

So I emailed them back about the Shipping it back bit, (actually replied to the email), and did not get any reply back as of 2155 Hrs EST Today.

Further They Just Posted Today:

" We did receive a batch of duds that we, unfortunately, mixed in with our existing inventory. We did not know about the duds until now,"

Oh Boy... and Now They are going to be testing them before they go out. Interesting, I have images in my mind about this I can't rally post here that are extremely funny LOL!!!!

OK So Pretty Good Customer Service So Far. I am Happy! But, Did They Just Void My Warranty???

We will just see when & if I get the batteries, I will post the update.

I really Hope That Between The (6) of Them That They Could Decide What Battery Charging Instructions To Give Their Customers Each Day (they must have meetings on this). Changing the Charging Instructions Twice in One Day Is Really Not Good. If you follow their posts on the battery charging instructions you will see.. "Charge your battery for 3 Days" LOL!!!!!

At This Point I Will Say It As It Is, Due To The Fact It Sounds That They Already Voided My Current & Future Warranty Due to Giving A Way The Big Secret "It's Not AN 801" it's The Vapor 1000!!! Guess I Might Just Send The 801, OOPPSSS I mean the "Vapor 1000" (its not really an 801 and its not compatible with any 801) back due to being a total defect.

Keep Vapin! and don't mix are special 801's with your 801's.....

Well here is the reply I have just received from my charger inquiry from VaporCig.com:

You need plug the battery into the charger before you hook the charger to the powercord and plug it into the wall. If the battery is already in the charger while the charger is plugged into the wall it sometimes will stay green. To answer your other question about if it is supposed to blink 5 times when you plug it in is no. It does not blink when you plug it in. I hope I have answered your question. Feel free to contact me anytime if you have anymore questions or concerns. Thank you,Debbie CristinoVaporCig.com

I also asked if the batts came charged already and also about initial charging times, my response varies a bit from yours Rejoice:

The batteries do come with a small charge but you do need to charge it for 8 hours for 3 days in a row. After the 3rd day of charging you may then charge your battery until the green ready light appears on the charger. After the 3rd day you will get a full charger after charging it 3 to 4 hours. I hope I answered your question. Thank you,DebbieVaporCig.com

Just thought I'd keep everyone updated, my 1st battery has been charging since this morning so it'll be 8hrs when I get home from work. Hopefully everything will work ok.....:)

Hi Everyone:

Thank you for your comments and feedback. We really appreciate your taking the time to let everyone know about your Vaping Experiences with The Vapor.

As for the batteries cutting out, this is not good and not supposed to happen -- EVER! We did receive a batch of duds that we, unfortunately, mixed in with our existing inventory. We did not know about the duds until now, thanks to you. So thank you for pointing that out to us.

We will check/test all batteries from here on out before we send you your starter kits. Our manufacturer is looking into this. You should be able to draw upon the eCig without the light flickering on and off. And you should be able to feel the throat hit on very little puffs. That is how well the atomizer works -- that is, with our regular good batteries.

Also, please do NOT charge our special batteries with any other 801 chargers. You will definitely ruin your batteries. Use our batteries with our supplied charger.

Just to let everyone know, we do ship the starter kits by UPS for all starter kits sold to U.S. customers. We do this so we can track the order. UPS takes a little longer in some cases than regular U.S. Post. However, if you prefer that we send by U.S. Post, please let us know. We will go to the post office and attach a return receipt.

Lastly, Marian has a staff of six full-time people. We are here to assist you in any manner, both before and after the sale. So if you have any questions or need assistance in any way, please feel free to contact us at shop@vaporcig.com or by telephone (951-686-8626) during normal business hours 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.

No Lane it works, but no matter how long I charge it. There is very little vapor. I use the same atomizer. It blinks after I take a puff. Blinks like 20 times. All I know it doesn't work right. I can use the same atomizer and put that good battery on and -Wow lots of vapor.

Hi Rejoice:

Sorry for the dud. Thank you for making us aware. Please let us know how you make out with the replacement. I'm very happy your oth battery is giving you lots of vapor. You go, girl!

Debbie
