i have been vapin it up for a little while, and i am getting ready to order some diy juice supplies. i was wondering if i could maybe tell from the local place's menu selection or something like that and guess what brand they were using? i have really enjoyed their juice, but i would like to experiment a bit more without breaking the bank. i have been vaping mostly their vanilla ry4 and my buddy likes their cinnamon, so even if someone could suggest some good flavorings for those, it would also be appreciated. i feel pretty confident on most aspects of diy, the only exception being the overwhelming selection of often (seemingly) redundant flavorings.
Any way to guess what my local b&m is using?

You might want to check out onestopdiyshop.com, they have a pretty extensive selection of flavor from different manufacturers at good prices and their shipping and service is good as well. I know they have a few different ry4 options as well as a few different cinnamon flavors. They also sell just about anything else you'll need to start mixing diy

How well do you know your local place? If they are really there for the local vapers, they should have no problem telling you the source/proportion/mix of the juice they sell. This info would give you a great starting point for any DIY juice mix....JMHO
From there, the ECf forums on DIY juice can help fine tuning your "lab mix"....

rnb: i actually went to high school with the owners, haha. i just feel that they may feel a bit hurt if i told them i wanted to diy. maybe not though, their business is killing it right now. next time i go up there i plan on buying a few protanks, maybe it will hurt less if i have a big bill.

Ok true a large selection sometimes doesn't help! But if it at all helps, their ry4 double is very good, kind of a nutty tobacco with some sweet stuff mixed in, kinda some caramel taste. And I also tried french vanilla mixed with ry4 which is a nice smooth vanilla flavor. Both require a bit of steeping or else it tastes kinda like perfume but after they mix up real nice its a good vape. The only suggestion I can offer is find a place that sells flavor at a good price and order the ones you think you will like. It never hurts just to try and you can always mix small batches to test flavors. And RedNBlack is right, have a talk with your local shop owners and see if they've got any good news for you. Oh and don't forget to check out the diy e-liquid section, they have a review section for diy flavors
i think what i am going to do is go with wizard labs for my flavors first time around. at 1.50 a piece i can order some random crap and see what i come up with. unfortunately they seem to be out of the ry4 double, which i have been looking pretty hard at. cant win em all i suppose. thanks for all your help guys!
