Hello,

My 48 day old 510 attys are still going strong but one has always had a harder draw then the other. Even when both are bone dry in the morning, and I puff on them with no juice in them, one draws easy and one draws hard. Both make insane amounts of plume still and perform well. I just prefer the easy draw one and get a lil irritated every other day when I have to use the stiff one.

Is there any modification I can do to it? Both are debridged and dewicked.

Thank you,
Lori

Sounds like the two small side holes just above the threads are plugged.
You could try clearing them with a small paper clip or similar tool (pin/needle) that is slightly smaller than the holes.
Sometimes these holes go straight through and sometimes they don't.
Another thing you can try is soaking the atty in Isopropyl Alcohol 91 percent and then attaching a squeeze bulb to the mouth end of the atty and forcing alcohol in and out of the threaded end especially with your finger over the center hole.
I know some people who like a nice loose draw carefully enlarge these side holes with a 5/64" drill bit, but this would probably be beyond your scope. Unless you have a drill press and compressed air to blow out the shavings. Don't get hurt now, its easy to slip and drill your hand with a hand drill (its not called a hand drill for nothing).
Hope this helped.

Two things you might try:

First, the 510 has a plastic disc with a hole in it, situated just above the battery connector and just below the ceramic cup that holds the atomizer heating element. That hole can melt (getting smaller) from the heat of the atomizer and I've had a couple brand-new 510's where the hold was too small from the factory. You can use a small drill bit (1/16 or 3/64) to open the hole by inserting the bit down the center of the battery end and twisting it in the hole to make it bigger.

Next, and I do this to all my 510 atomizers and batteries, you can enlarge the draw holes and slots. The four slots on the brass battery socket can be made larger with a jeweler's file, and the same small drill bits can be used with a pin vise to enlarge the two side holes on the brass atomizer connector.

There's not much danger of damaging the atomizer when enlarging any of those holes.
