I got my Indulgence last week, and I like everything about it except the damn spinning adapter inserts! It's not so bad with the 510 adapter, but the treads on the 901 adapter are a bit tight, and it's really hard to get 901 attys and cartos to screw all the way on. Tthe adapters spin in the socket with less force than is needed to fully attach the atty. I can get them on if I take the cap off and hold the adapter from the other side, but that's a real pain.

Is there any way to keep the adapter from spinning? It seems this whole mess could have been avoided if they had just machined a keyway into the adapters and had a matching tab on the cap. If I had access to a machine shop, I'd probably do it myself, but I don't. What are my options?

I agree with this. I love my new indulgences. This is the only problem with them. Every time I want to change an atty I have to take the top endcap off, and hold the bottom of the adapter with my thumb while screwing the atty on. This is a serious pain, and I hope you get this fixed on the next run. It is simple enough to fix. Just put a little nipple on the adapter, and a slot in the endcap.

Hey Di I said nipple. ;)

It's not really the spinning that bothers me. It's having to take the endcap off to change the atty. That bugs me. I kind of like the spinning for the reason you mentioned. You can make the whistle tip line up however you want.

While I must say I was looking forward to having a nipple to play with, I guess enlarging the .... will also make me a happy vaper. At least a happy NOW DI.

Were going to make the "...." end <<< there's one for you Di lol x ........ make the .... end .005 +/- longer , this will allow more pressure on the switch contact when the collar is compressed, therefore resolving the spinning that bothers you guy's , and gals lol

ooh, - ooh - ooh -

you said .... -- and .... End --

Nah , looks like he should not only stop shaving his chest to try to be something he's not, but if someone would kindly flick that booger off his shoulder , the whole thing would appear much more "today" lol

There were many small issues with the original design, therefore we stopped production on them.

The "leakage" claim ........ for one thing , and atomizer is not made to ho... an liquid , the cartridge is made for this, so the only way anyone will get any leakage, is if they have overfilled the atomizer casing.

thanks, rick
This is the very reason I liked the original design when it came with the 4-5 sperate top caps, you wouldnt have any spining and probably no leakage either.

OK, I have both lots of these top caps

the original separate ones

and the new bullitt tyoe ones,

I prefer the bullitt tyoe ones,

the original ones were never quite straight - and the atty often sat at a slight angle -
this is the main reason we changed the design, after many many amny complaints-

any ways,

as has been said --

the only reason that there will be leakage from either set of adapter caps,
is if you flood the atty-
the atty is not made to hold liquid-
that is the job for the cartridges,

and if you drip juice into the atty -- as many of us do,
we must put only a max of 4 drops into the largest atty - the 801 - all other attys the max drip would be - 2 - 3 drips,
if you keep to this, you will not get leakage from your attys.

many of us do this and stick to these drip rules,
with no leakage problems at all.

happy vaping

careful dripping -- :)

The new bullett ones may be better than the original design, I wont argue that one bit. However I just liked the fact that you actually got a bunch of different top caps for each Atty and they looked very solid and if perfected they would have been nice to have, there are many mods that have had leakage and Atty problems on the market and the makers have corrected them to perfection with some really nice designs so the Attys cant spin or move at all once screwed on the unit and they are totally sealed so they cant leak at all, thats all Im saying here and gonna bail out, Rick I'm sure you will have more but im done
