I purchased the 510 starter kit from them, arrived yesterday. No instructions came with the package, no case either, just in a plastic zip lock bag.

Ok, no big deal on that. But, my husbands battery charged up ok, but mine is dead and won't charge. I left it on the charger for 5 hours, still nothing and the light on the charger keeps changing colors.

I called them, got the answering machine and left a detailed message and also followed up with an email.

Anyone here deal with them before? I"m wondering if I have a bad battery or a bad charger? And, how difficult will it be to get them to replace it? The equipment isn't even 24 hours old right now.

I wanted to purchase more batteries and another charger, but not sure if I want to buy more from them now. Is this a common problem? What do you think?

Sorry can't help with Innovapor, but I had a similar experience with a KR808D; of the 2 batteries, one was acting just like yours--no charge, no vapor, nothing. Emailed the vendor, who replied that it happens (and wasn't surprised) and sent me a replacement.

Unfortunately, DOA batteries seem to be not too uncommon...I'd definitely ask for a replacement. I've heard good things about IV, so don't give up on them yet...did you use this for contact: innovapor@gmail.com (from a sticky in the Suppliers forum)?

Gear that is defective isn't the fault of the supplier. It just happens. Give them a chance to respond. People have lives, and don't live on their computers 24/7. Waiting a few days for a reply isn't unheard of. I'm sure they'll make it right.

If you do a search on the forum you can find the instructions. It is suggested to charge a new 510 battery for 8 hours. Whether it really needs that or not is debatable. If the light isn't fully green, leave it on the charger. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/joye-510/24120-charging-time-new-510-batteries.html

Your issue also can be the charger.

I've purchased from them and had excellent service.

Your mom said not to say...
I have dealt with Innovapor.com a few times and have never had a problem with them. I have even talked with them on the phone. Be patient, I am sure they will get back to you ASAP and make it right. If you have not heard from them by Tuesday I would send another message or try to call again, but rest easy, they will make it right.

I got my 510 kit yesterday also from innovapor. First thing yeah, no instructions but they have instructional videos on the web site. That was good.
Second the USB charger was blue. I kept waiting on the light to change but it stayed blue. The instructional vid has a different charger that like most goes from red to green when ready. Mine was blue - stayed blue. Eventually I took it off the charger and vaped a bit with it. When I plugged it back in the light was red. So, basically the battery was charged when I got it... that usb charger goes from red to blue when ready. Also it'll flash like it wants to be done, when I fiddled with the battery a bit (push in further or change angle) it would go solid blue.
The 510 seemed very strong to me after the wimpy Health E Cigarette I had before. I need a different flavor or strength apparently. Or could be it's in the break in phase.

I have the usb charger with the AC adapter. When I plug in the broken one, it just stays green but doesn't charge. When I plug in the other battery, it's red at first, then after a few hours it blinks red and green. My adapter isn't the same as in the videos either and it came with no instructions, so I"m not really sure when it's charging and when it's done charging. It's very confusing.

I don't think it's the charger tho because the one battery charges fine, it's just the other battery that won't charge so it's probably just the battery.

I'm starting to get used to it, and already starting to enjoy it. One of my friends is a nurse, works in a hospital where they can't smoke on the premises at all anymore. So, she will probably get one of these so she can vape in the bathroom when she needs to.

One thing that does worry me tho is that I hear alot of talk about the government banning these. WTF????????

So I'm going to invest all this money in this, get used to it and love it only to have them take it away from me?

Maybe I should stock up on hardware and learn to make my own ejuice just in case. I wonder if you soak chewing tobacco in glycerine........what would it taste like?

Yea, I"m one of those strange people that plan for disasters n' stuff.............LOL!!!! But atleast I don't have 100 cases of MRE's stashed in the garage like my aunt does.........8-o
