No, generally using an RBA or personal choice causes one to drop their nic. I have done both of these. Going from an Ego Twist to ProVari, however, only caused me to find what I was looking for. Egos were not quite doing it for me.
I didn't drop my nic but got a few nic headaches from chain vaping on it. I was so excited to use it and the draw was so smooth!!! It was hard to out it down.
I've actually got to where I just pour something in and vape it, completely ignoring what the nic level is. Heck, I haven't even bothered with flavors. Right now I'm vaping plain.....lol
I eventually lowered my nic level from 24mg to 11mg. That took a long time, not because I didn't think about it ... I just didn't act upon it. Vaping 11mg is just fine, although I found myself vaping more heavily for a couple of weeks after the change. Then, it just felt normal. I even like the reduced throat hit.
Once in a while I will vape 8mg. Not much of a difference there, either.
