Got myself a Volt last night. Just the Standard Kit (2 78mm batteries, 5 carto's, USB wall adapter, USB charger) for $45. Really looking forward to its arrival, as I've already tried vaping before but couldn't really get into the work behind it all.

Since it's the first automatic battery that has got rave reviews, I figured that I'd give it a shot.

Well, smokeless image waited too long to update their inventory. I'm really wanting something like this for the trip we're taking, and couldn't wait any longer. With a little internet research (with my limited google skills), I read that the only difference between the Volt and Bloog Maxx Fusion is the label and the price. With a little more searching for discount codes and some math, I discovered the Bloog was only a couple dollars more, so I went ahead and bought it. The large kits for both of them have the exact same thing, except the Bloog has a 78mm battery, and the Volt has a 65mm, and the Bloog package comes with an extra/non-charging carrying case, and the Volt has an additional 5 cartos.

Now after buying the Bloog, I'm going to have to do some more research to see if the parts are interchangeable, since the Volt has cheaper replacement cartos, lol.

No, I think there was a miscommunication, lol. I'm not leaving this weekend, I read earlier that that's how long it might take for the smokeless image site to update their stuff, and by then it would be too late. I'm leaving in the wee hours of July 1st. I don't like ordering anything unless I have at least a two-week cushion to receive it :)

ohh ok I see, lol. I would have just waited! you can't beat the CS smokeless image has to offer! in any case, yes their cartos should fit the bloog batteries and vice versa.

2. The Volt battery - this is the regulated battery that stays good from beginning to just before it needs charging, no pressing a button, it's automatic and hasn't ever misfired on me. 2-3 hours of heavy vaping, or however long for just taking ciggy break vapes or trying to grab a vape when really busy. Standard Ego batteries last me 3 hours or so of heavy vaping plus I have to push that stupid button. Why push a button to vape when I don't have to???? Older auto batteries were a nightmare for misfires and only lasted like 30 minutes, but that's no longer true with the Volt battery.QUOTE]

Jan - Have you ever had juice in the Volt batteries? I understand this is problematic with automatics. I wonder if it is any different with the Volt. I'm looking for a short, automatic 808 battery and a flat tip capable of gripping in the teeth and supporting a carto and batt.

hello,

What you need to watch for with either the bloog or volt auto batteries is condensation building up on the battery post on the auto batteries.

What I do at the end of the day is remove the cartomizer and give the battery a couple of light thermometer style flicks to get the water out. Wipe the contact dry, charge, then let it sit standing up battery end down for the rest of the night.
